Animal testing is so wrong!

Agree or disagree with me, it isn't my opinion, it it the truth! I know (not think) it's sick and wrong because ordinary animals lose their lives. They live in cages and day by day shampoo is squeezed into their eyes and then they are forced to have their eyes open and left everyday like that. Knowing makes me actually cry...it's not just sad, it's devistating!

I don't really have to say a lot to prove my point, everyone knows what animal testing is all about. I've even saw discusting images of ead monkey's bleeding to death, it's horrible.

The people know that the products work & why are there so many brands of shampoo etc? That's what's killing animals. New shampoo = killed animal, in short term, but it's truth nevertheless.

I agree with shampoo that doesn't include animal testing. I also have a much better idea & so does my mum. All those bleeding tosers in jail who have raped, killed, stolen etc who have televisions, good food, money and are money is paid in order for prisonisers to stay in jail, why not test it on them.

You can call me mad or wierd but I'm sure a lot of people will actually agree with me. I know people who I know do at least, so others around the world will too. There are so many prisonisers in jail because they will risk the crime and aren't really bothered about being in jail.

Sent in for ten years, out in four. Get everything you'd ever what, perfect isn't it? Yes! Bread & water in a dungeon I say or non at all, OR, even better, get rid of them altogether! They'd think twice about doing a crime then. It all fits though. So that's prisoners tested on. Vote yes, or no if you feel that way, but whatever.

Whats the difference between a furry bunny in a cage and a human in a cage, they are both animals but you want to torture the human instead?

I agree that some animal testing certainly is pointless and lots of it cruel beyond necessity, but as a human, I personally feel that animal testing for a good cause (medicine) is acceptable and even necessary.

As for your criminals instead of animals theory, well, you are sick.

i love all these people who are against animal testing yet dont blink an eye when they use, on a daily basis, the advancements in science that have come about from animal testing

tell you what...next time you're ill...dont take any medicines no matter how severe the illness...and if you ever need an operation...dont use anesthetic...

if it wasnt for animal testing, you wouldnt be wearing makeup or being cured of some illness. They dont just test stuff for torturing animals or simply because of a new shampoo product.

If it's OK for people to have sex with animals, why can't we stick things in their eyes? Seems a bit hippocritical if you ask me.

Because it's against the Geneva convention you dumb crap. Testing on animals is better then letting some five year old die from an allergic reaction from her no tears shampoo.

Many prisoners are innocent. And I don't like animal testing...There are more natural remedies along with changes in diet and such that can certainly cure many things.....Or make a shampoo.

Animal testing is no longer necessary for the most part because computer simulations can now do most of what lab testing could do in the past.

In those rare instances where an actual living organism is needed then prisoners aren't such a bad idea. I'm not advocating ALL prisoners be subjected to such testing or even most of them but for those most heinous of criminals, murderers, child molesters, it's a just and fitting punishment. I know someone is going to call me sick and twisted for this point of view but what I think is sick is that people seem to feel that such monsters are deserving of compassion and human dignity when they showed none to their victems.
The animals are innocent, so why should they suffer?

Why "only" them? They are already getting the punishment society has judged they should have. Do you want MORE punishment?
And then... There are cases were it turns out those murderers and child-molesters were in fact innocent. What do you propose we do in those cases, Doctor Mengele?

Your name calling means nothing. I would only support such testing just like where I now support the death penalty, where there is hard physical evidence, never circumstantial. With modern forensics and DNA it now makes it extremely remote that the innocent get convicted, unlike just a few years ago. As for murderers and child molestors, there is never enough punishment. But if I ever want to become a violent criminal I'll be sure to do it in Western Europe as opposed to Texas.

Well 90% of people are calling me sick, but I disagree very much. In older times, people were killed for a petty crime. Now, everyone can get away with murder! They need punishment & yes only the ones that we know are 100% guilty. I know that some are innocent, so they shouldn't be treated badly.

But you can not really be 100% sure in most cases. And you want to torture humans, why? That doesn't make you any better than those people.

Humans stronger than most animals.
Humans like humans (selfish reasons but whatever)
Humans like shampoo
Shampoo needs to be tested
Better test shampoo on animals.
