also while in great yarmouth (it did not rain 😮 ) I saw a display of swords in a shop and for sale was sting and all the other swords from the film (full size) very impressive I asked if they were real and the nice man said yes they where and then he told me the price £184 for sting 😱

and so ends the story of what I did on my hols. thank u 😮‍💨

i find it hard to belive that the REAL sword in the movie would be on sale. If it would, i don't think it would stay on the market for 2 days......fans are there hunting these stuff

There are currently two replicas of Sting on the market. One comes with a sheath and a better plaque, the other with no sheath and a lesser plaque.

Also there are miniature version of all the hobbit swords.

The original Sting from the movie is in a museum in New Zealand...or will be when constructed.

The are also replicas of Narsil, Orcrist, Glamdring, and the WitchKings sword on the market.....as well as miniature version of them all.

It is large, heavy, beautiful, and limited to 1000 pieces worldwide. It is worth every penny to add it to my collection. I just love the idea of being one of only a thousand to own Tolkien stuff. One of My Silmarillion copies is limited to 500 made, signed by Ted Nasmith and Christopher Tolkien....it is beautiful too!!!

P.S. - I do expect the value of the Balrog to rise in years to come. My Tudor Mint Hobbit collection is now worth at least $6000 and maybe as much as $9000 😄

I don't think tolkien and his stories about middle earth are about collecting things, and well I think it's kinda crashy to spend 300$ on a statue, tho I should shut up about spendin' money, I think my lego collection is worth more then 9000$ already and I didn't pay anything of it
