You dont have to move very fast to be invisible to the human eye.
No, normal humans are not. However, depending on the color of your clothes and the background, and the distance and range, you would be able to move faster than the eye could see at about 200 miles per hour (there was a website where someone had done experiments that confirmed this, I'll see if I can find it).
Obviously, no one in real life can move that fast.
But it's still not fast at all compared to Superman.

In the manga, Buu never even used the ghost attack against Vegeto. Most of their fight in the anime was filler. In the manga, Vegeto didn't even fight him in base form like in the anime, he went straight to SSJ form, and started beating him up, then Buu tried to hide in the mist from his body, but Vegeto still pounded him, so then Buu transformed him but he fought him as a candy so Buu transformed him back, and then Vegeto beat him up a bit more, and then Buu absorbed him. Everything else is filler.
As for Goku using the IT in combat, he has only used it once against Cell as part of a trick that required him to spend a lot of time charging up his kamehameha (something Superman would never allow), and a few times against Kid Buu, solely for the purpose of dodging his attacks.
Goku is nowhere near Superman's speed. Superman fights at speeds transcending lightspeed, from the earth to the sun and back in under a minute and 54 seconds (Wonder Woman sacrifice arc), inside of a black hole, he can percieve and react to FTL attacks, whereas DBZ characters have no feats that put them at even 1% of lightspeed. If Superman was using anywhere near his full speed Goku wouldn't even be able to percieve him.
I thought Super Buu used that attack but it didn't work? When they put a preview of the last chapter of DBZ in Shonen Jump he used that attack.
Yeah, & I'm sure Superman is even faster than Goku's IT ability & even if Goku tried it, it wouldn't work. Superman is too durable & has too much endurance to fall by such an attack.
😆 It makes me laugh at how there are all these facts to prove Superman would win yet a lot of people still claim Goku would win. When will people learn that Goku just isn't strong enough to even be on par with Superman in a fight? 😂

I'll admit I was wrong Gokou didn't use it against Buu or Vegetto didn't use it but it's not impressive if he did it to just dodge. Come on he was hitting Buu before he used it..Him doing it then hitting Buu doesn't say much except he needed to dodge the blast.

Yeah, Superman was just fighting Doomsday! I guess he wasn't fighting at full power. 🙄

Superman never truly died. Due to having solar energy stored into his body for over 30 years, his body stayed alive. He never died.

Originally posted by Violent2DopeThe after image only requires the speed needed to move faster than the eye can track. Then at the place you want to leave the after image you slow down long enough for the eye to catch you then speed up again.

This was explained when someone form Ruroni Kenshin used "it".
Now when I flammin' said that Wolverine and Spiderman can move so fast that the human eye can't see them...
To those soldiers wolveirne would have done that blinking out and then back in thing. And he managed to destroy their guns.
So seriously, this blinking out and then back in is NOT that impressive. It's a high street to low meta move... big deal...
