He wasn't really injured. He got injured but motherbox was healing him. And he was still getting beat hardcore by Doomsday then. The only reason he was able to fight well after taking the blast was motherbox. It was more powerful than any DBZ blast normally shown though and so he'd have no problem taking ki blasts. If he even wanted to. He still has the option of koing them before they even attack if he wants.
One thing I would like to say is that just because an explosion is bigger does not make it's power greater. Also, I read that Supes superhuman durability is not physical, but it's a very small energy field around his whole body. Can someone confirm this? Oh an Kento, Freeza survived the destruction of a planet while blown in half and being incapacitated by Goku.
Freeza only survived by being found and turned into mostly robot also. He was about dead. Also Freeza can survive in space. Gokou can't survive in space.
Also nobody has survived a blast that can destroy the planet outright. They survived or blocked blasts that could destroy the planet by disrupting the core but not outright destroy it.
And stop using one instance years ago as you're only source for his durability. Try something closer to this year.

Unless it's been retconned, which I think it may have been, he does have a bio aura that protects him from stuff but he's also got extreme durability also besides it. Doomsday was able to by pass the field as is anybody stronger or that has magic or kryptonite.
And yes its a big feat but not something Gokou could do. Freeza only survived because his father found him and made him a cyborg. Gokou would have died if the positions exchanged because he can't survive in space. So even if he could survive the explosion he'd died from being in space.

Show me a DBZ character surviving an explosion equal to 50 supernovae, or a black hole, or being punched through a planet (most of them get all beat up after being punched just a few hundred meters through some rocks), or atom slicing beams, or flying through a star, or any of the other stuff Superman regularly does.
