BTW in the manga, Gotenks flew around the world an unspecified number of times (the scan showed 5 trails, and he stated he flew around the world "a lot of times".) He started as soon as he fused, and when he finished, he also said he took a nap. Then Picollo said he only had one minute remaining in the fusion. So the nap + undetermined number of orbits took 29 minutes. However, he then flew to Buu's house, and as soon as he arrived and yelled at Buu, he defused, meaning that he took a whole minute to fly just to another point on the earth's surface. Even if we assume that Buu's house was on the exact opposite end of the earth from where he left, that puts his speed at only 0.00179c, or less than 1% of lightspeed.
