Well, Endless Mike says no one in the DBZ universe can destroy more than a planet at once. King Cold was able to destroy Earth in a single blast, how much do you think Goku at SSJ3 could destroy? Ofcrouse more than a Solar System.
Oh, and about Superman's speed:
He is able to BUILD UP his flight speed to exceed the speed of light. He doesn't do this in either short distances of is able to fight at such speeds (yet still very fast). Goku however doesn't have this problem. He can fly and fight in distances in speeds greater than light,with no problem of having to build up these speeds.
Also, I found a scan that proves saiyans can breath in space.

Well, think of all the boasts every single villain in the series had made up to then. Think of how wrong they were.
Arrogant boasts are arrogant boasts. There is no evidence in a single chapter of the manga (trust me, I've read them all) that would lead us to believe that anyone ever pictured could destroy more than a planet.
Further; Saiya-jin, in canon, cannot breathe in space. The frieza saga illuminates this fact.
Finally; I would LOVE to see the bit of credible proof that anyone in Dragonball Z can fight, move, or even fly at speeds exceeding C.
One SHRED of proof.

If you know anything about tactics or even just trash talking you know its important to try and "psyche out" your opponent.
Fact of the matter is that several of the villians said several different things that weren't true.
Vegeta said he was the best in the universe.. before freeza killed him.
And Burta didn't say he was light speed, they said that he was the fastest... which was an obvious lie as Freeza proved to be faster than him.. it didn't say that he was moving at the speed of light in anything other than the anime dub. Meaning it was NOT Toriyama's words but those of the translator.

When has any of them ever lied? They weren't lying when they said things like "I'm the strongest being in the whole universe!" because they are since they know no one else who is stronger then them. So you may call it boasting but they really aren't at all.
Look at how long it took Frieza to destroy Namke and look at how fast Kid Buu did (without ANY effort, I must add).
Again I'll point out, what many of you call "boasting from the villains" or "lies" really aren't, they are telling the truth because they haven't met anyone stronger than them.
Example: Andtroid 17 claimed to be the storngest in the universe, yet he dind't know 16 was stronger, Cell, or Piccolo were. But this is because e hadn't seen any of them fight, or even met some of them.

That's called grasping at straws ... it's quite illogical to say that a person who says something that's not true is not lieing. As saying something that's not true is the definition of lieing even if they are unaware of it.
So yes, they are boasting, even if they think they're telling the truth they're not as it is shown that they weren't telling the turth after wards. So No, them simply saying they can do something or Are something is not good enough evidence without it being backed up.
So no, You have to show Cell destroying a solar system to claim that he can. Otherwise you're being illogical with your lack of supporting evidence.
Saiyans can’t breather in space. The Badarock scene was a tribute to the movie, because Akira liked it so much. If Freeza knew Saiyans could breathe in Space, he wouldn’t ask Goku if he could breathe in Space.
And if Cell can destroy a Solar System because he said so, I guess Darkseid is omnipotent.
