I don't really see this as beeing down to useing energy. Supes has taken a galaxy destroying blast. So Goku's energy won't be effective... not only that but superman has vibrated through physical and even energy attacks...

Well why wouldnt someone believe Cell couldnt destroy a solar system...he said so himself so ins that enough proof. The writer uses the characters as a means of narration sometimes, so in this situation Cell is able to destroy a solar system otherwise why was it written.

This is Nappa erasing a City, is show in the anime also.

This is the kind of Power that DBZ fighters have, just because Goku don´t destroy the planet when he lives does not mean he can´t.

From Nappa to cell is a huge increase of power so, Why Toriyama will write that Cell can generate power to destroy more than a planet?

However, if you're going to argue for ANYTHING - you need to do so on basis of proof. Real physical proof. Extrapolation, and supposition doesn't cut it.
