that must have been pretty recently, so that's cool but keeping it from moving is battling against the force, not the mass of the moon. and in any event, the moon is very small compared to a planet. i know i sound bitter, but geez, i guy who moves multiple planets around and people were whining because they said despero (who appeared to be having some trouble holding the rock of eternity!) is too strong??

so just how strong IS majestic? clearly stronger than superman. sun-dip equivalent? i've just started researching some of these guys to see what i'm up against and right off the bat i find planet moving strength.

Planet moving still isn't a strength feat... no-one's claiming the guy could lift the equivalent weight of a planet

Hell... any GL could move a planet.... all they have to do is imagine a bulldozer larger than the planet and it'd be easy

I've often thought that if they moved far enough away so as the sun appeared the size of a golf ball, they could create a golf club construct with the same relative dimensions.... and just smack the sun lightyears away

.... any reason why they couldn't do that????? 🙄

No, the moon was falling and Superman caught and pushed it back in place and held it there for days in alternating shifts with Green Lantern.

Thing is the same writer who wrote Majestic moving planets also writes a powerful as hell as Superman. Our Worlds at War? Same writer.

And if planet moving bothers you, Kyle held a galaxy full of planets....

Partially, yes .... to the extent that his hands don't get crushed

The thing doing all the hard work is the self propulsion though (it's not like there's anything to push off from when moving a planet)

Come on guys, is this really an issue?

A brawler or two helps, certainly. But strength is hardly the "strongest" power we have in this tourney, and if someone like Captain Marvel or WW can go toe-to-toe with Supes (at least close to the same level), who can move moons and such, plenty of herald types aren't far from being able to do the same. Even with guys like Majestic.

Strength-wise: Majestic = Superman = Hyperion (and is close with all the other Superman types)

not really an issue, no, i just found it odd how easily everyone accepted the feat in lieu of that earlier debate. even holding a moon is nothing in comparison. if his solar system was like ours, he would have been moving what, JUPITER sized planets around? wasn't sbp banned for similar feats?

the golf club to the sun is an interesting issue, scoob. i really don't know. 😕

Huh. I just saw that AJ is banned. We may need someone to replace his team altogether.

If we could find one person to take his team we could allow them to change one character... and due to special circumstances, use all three characters (just for the first round though.... then they'd have to find a partner... if they got through)

I was looking forward to the arguements from Team Flying Brick all the tactics they could bring to the table.

That would kind of suck if GF and Psyquis got a free trip to the second round. I doubt you guys are gonna find a last minute replacement. I say make this first group of matches a three way dance.
