Scoob dealt with the construct rule and I was actually rather removed from it. You might have to check with him, as I forget the details (I think Blair has it though).
And regardless of whether or not they're independant, GL's have made numerous constructs at the same time. Hopefully the numbers advantage won't be a huge issue (it's just those lethargic golems, right?)

Most of his arguement was the Daxamites (who newjak told me Digi said he could talk about 😬 ) and Shaman.
We saw the posts Ill. The constructs were made during the battle 😬 as were the spells. Hope that clears everything up and Im waiting for the right time to use my 9 posts....

Not to be a nudge, but I think there is too much emphasis on who battles with what person, and such (for example, the issue has arisen in Battle 4). I mean, these couples are teams, correct? While I think this rule may be necessary, I think it's just a tad... dramatic.
Teammates should be able to help teammates out, especially when, in a game such as this, being the first to post has such an impact on the battle, and the participants are going to always be on at the right time. It seems that just because one person might be busy, their team shouldn't be at a disadvantage.
But that's just me.

It was originally going to be the case that each team would only have two character and could only argue for the one they drafted, we added the third "team" character to be used by both in case one of the participants wasn't on as much as the other (or at all)
Basically this format was chosen to promote the idea of teamwork

I suppose. Although I don't know how much teamwork you would lose if there was no similar rule in place.
Well it mainly gets the two participants to communicate via PM (or whatever) in order to keep them more interested in what's going on.... too many tourneys in the past have had people just not show up or quit after a round or two... hopefully when there's a partner to consider this won't happen ...... but it already has has, so......... 😮
