lol...fair enough. I just don't want this overshadowing this week's semi, which is a great (and clean) match.

Khells was on the right track in round 1 but it didn't pan out and he didn't have team support.

You had great posts Khell but after we realized that we had the match pretty good in hand we left a good portion of stuff out just to save it for Leo/Khan.
Not taking anything away from you but even if you had a partner we still had so much more to pull out on you if need be. 😬

a final question, mostly rhetorical: the whole thing started with shaman being able to pull shit out of his bag, correct? people started going ballistic when they learned that shaman could possibly pull a copy of . . . ALPHA FLIGHT from his bag!! 😆 now, imagine that instead of AF he was able to pull out 5 superman green lanterns. anyone think THAT power would have made it through . . .?
Not a chance in hell..... in fact if he'd mentioned Shaman doing that in the match the tactic would have been immediately shot down as against the rules (in fact that specific line of argument was covered during the drafts)
Basically what's happening here is that BW/NJ have seen that the tactic is completely illegal for Shaman to use..... so thay've had Kyle pulling exactly the same illegal tactic.... and somehow none of the judges for their match noticed..... 😕

IS it clean, though? Was it ever revealed what Scoob's been hinting at this whole time?
Oh crap.... I've been away for a few days........ what was I hinting at? ... or what were my hints that made you think I was hinting at something?
(seriously.... I have no idea what you're talking about ..... 😐 )

Not exactly Scoob.
I noticed in Round 1. Constructs were allowed, as were independent constructs. Per the rules, it was legal, because these combatants were simply constructs created by Kyle and would dissipate if he were incapacitated. It stretched the loophole clause, but it was within the rules. I would have elaborated on it more in the previous battle, but I was told I was putting too much input into the battles trying to cover the rule violations and participants were complaining that I was basically arguing points that the participants should, so I let it go in the interest of not coming across with a bias.
Now, Leo and TheKahn have addressed this issue outright. Per an unbiased interpretation of the rules, these Daxamites do not actually break any of the established rules unless there was an actual defined limitation of the competency of the independently acting constructs (which there wasn't).
At this point, it would be unfair to BW and Newjak to disallow the tactic outright, but a limitation may be in order if the consensus of the judges is that it's too much of a loophole.
They knew fullwell that creating Alpha Flight dupes was illegal, this is the same thing regardless of what happens if Kyle dies

The only reason BW didn't mention this in the drafting is that he knew it would get banned
