Marvel's website is ok. The only way the public gets it changed is by submitting changes that have to be approved. It's legitimate. So no Quasar-steal. Sorry, but nice try.

But beyond that, up until recently you couldn't edit them at all, so it could've been an obvious mistake. It's clear AW drafted Quasar, and we're not going to screw him out of it based on a technicality that was probably just a misunderstanding. As it is, that site remains credible. 🙂

And did we agree on Cyborg Supes?? Hang on....I have an answer....I'll be right back...

My interpretation of this are the words "have been shown to consistently carry on them". Cyborg stole them...they're not part of his 'standard equipment' within comic canon. As such, he will not have access to them any more than we could give Dr. Doom Mjolnir (since apparently he had it recently...or maybe it was just a cover....still, the point is the same).

My apologies GF. It's nothing personal, but I have to try to do what I think is best. In the meantime, you have Cyborg Supes (sans rings) unless you decide to change your pick.

And in the meantime, Soujaboy isn't even in the tourney, and he's the only one who has "picked" the person I probably would have tried to get in round 1.

Hmm...yeah, that's just too much of an over-simplification, but I can see how others might think that. It has to be reasonably intelligent (and correct) to get past the approval. It is Marvel's 'official' site, after all. 🙄

Also, is Cyborg Supes killable? I read a bio on him once that was something about unlimited regenerative capabilities or something. We could make it so a temporary decommision could count as a win, but how fast does he 'heal'??

We limit him to only one body, no transferring consciousness to other mechanical sources but allow him to continue to remote control other machines

All pretty solid picks so far. I have my opinions about them all, but won't share them just now. But I'm still waiting for those 1 or 2 picks that are both sweet and obscure (or random, clever, stupidly horrible, etc.)....those are my favorite, but probably won't come until later rounds. Like Bruce Lee in the street level tourney. That was priceless (and pure JP), or Khell back in the day with members of the Authority that no one had heard of at the time.

I wonder how Grey Fox will react when he comes back online tomorrow to find Quasar gone

He'll have Cyborg Supes until he decides otherwise...GF has had enough bad luck recently...we don't need to add that.

I want to clear up the banned characters a little bit.

Specific Banned Characters: Flash, The Speedblitz, Dr. Strange, The Doctor, Thanos, Zatanna, Absorbing Man, Animal Man, Amazo, Talisman, Genis-Vell, Baron Zemo

Add Superboy Prime to this list as well as Dr. Fate.

About Flash, are we banning just Flash or all Speed Force users in general?
