Basically if you do this then your singleing out one power in particular and saying that banned powers can work on them. Those powers are banned for reasons and if you allow then to be used in any reason then it is unfair to the team employing them because your singleing out their attack. Thus rises the question of why can't we do it to all attacks against us or why can't we simply effect the enviroment with these banned powers to beat them as we aren't directly fighting them.

Never mind. I agree with this. The power caps ARE there for a reason, and shouldn't be broken just because of an attack. The rock giants are more of an attack than a member. We can't just bend the rules around constructs, it wouldn't be fair. That's basically just banning a specific attack for Shaman that Digi himself has already OKAYED and stated to not worry about it.

So why is everyone arguing with Khell again? That sounds perfectly reasonable.

Yeah this one is up to Digi we should just let it rest for now nothing more can be accomplished except clogging up this thread.

EDIT: I should note that I've given up all authority pertaining to this tourney as a GLC member in a PM to Digi earlier. This is just a suggestion, so my opinion shouldn't count more than anyone else, it should just be judged on whether it makes sense to people or not.

Who can make a "cloud dragon?" 😕 I thought that Shaman could only make the rock giant constructs. However, they don't seem to be that uber.

Yeah, I agree. I don't see why constructs would fall under the rules specifically made for drafted characters. That seems like basic strategy to me. If they aren't allowed to be transmutated/teleported then we are treating them like normal characters. Regardless of how weak they are, that shouldn't be allowed at all.

Yes, he can. You have a point here. Although Shaman and Loki can use their powers in order to create constructs such as rock giants and cloud dragons, they are capable of independent thought and movement. Therefore it DOES break the 3 vs. 3 limit.

The more I think about it, you shouldn't be able to create the rock giant constructs. It's unfair because you got essentially a moving independently thinking character added to your team. It breaks the 3 vs. 3 rule.

If Silver Surfer takes a rock, throws it at lightspeed, can Thor just BRF it away? common, your nitpicking at my character. DIGI, already stated it was allowed, that you shouldnt be worried, AND that the power caps were set. There shouldnt be exceptions if the same rules has been set.

I mean taken that way, if SS took a rock and threw it at me, I could manipulate time till he released it, transmute it to a bomb, and have it go off in his hands....

there are too many what ifs in your scenario.
