Ok simple:

a GL, SS, or Thor (common a godblast should do the trick) could destroy a planet

GLs can move a planet

SS has greater durability (Sun = dead planet)

With no mass moving, its really just a planet with a GL ring.....nothing extremely special.

Plus we can assume that he has normal GL levels.

Assuming that he's a normal GL is too big a stretch and we know it is since he's always been called the most powerful. I could just as easily assume that because he's a living planet his will power is off the charts.

for the purpose of the tourny tho, we can just assume 😄 that he is a normal GL 😄, besides most powerful of the GLs does not mean OUTSTANDINGLY above Gls....it could just be slightly more powerful.

Shaman? We limited like 3 powers on him....Newjak actually wants him back...and will be given reasons shortly.

As for fact that hes a planet? its like plants, there are some plants that are "alive" in a sense (they eat and such) however they are STILL plants. Being alive (AND not being able to move his mass) would make him at the tourny limits 😄

And for the purpose of the tourny I would gladly use him at a normal Kyle or Hal, or Guy powerlevel.

Because he's more powerful than either Hal or Kyle.

Quite frankly, I'd rather you have Shaman. I never even voted no on him.

Here's the thing. We're trying as much as possible to not limit individual people. Either they're in, or they're out....that was the plan.

I remember having to neuter every other pick in the street tourney to keep people under the limits. So we had multiple "This person is the pick, but not these powers...".

I've already done a little of that with stuff like speedblitzing, which I'm not particularly proud of.

Bottom line: I don't want to severely limit Mogo (including movement to attack) just so you can use him. You say you want to use him as a normal GL. Fine. Then pick a normal GL...hell, my boy Alan is still out there if you need a specific reference. Kilowog, Guy, etc. would all be capable replacements as well.

Sentient Planet = too many insanely uber possibilities...and you know my thoughts on limiting him. Thus, Mogo = No.

P.S. I'm still torn on Shaman...give me a bit with that.

It's just such a huge (pun not intended) thing to leave out, that it would feel like saying "Well, we're allowing Superman, but he's at Iron Man level." It would cheapen the battle experience to have such a tactic sitting in front of you but not be able to use it.

You're not helping Mungi.....don't muddy the water any more than they are already 😬 lol

eh I didnt even know he could do that.....to me its more like superman without heat vision....weather manipulation and natural gravity would be enough for me....as well as places to hide and such for ambushes, communication as to their locations, ect ect...

but if you say so.....I dont think taking that way would limit me anyways...but your the boss....
