See, that's an example of how underrestimated Plastic Man is. Do you realize that he was the league's only hope and that Fernus took care of the entire JLA by himself??? Plastic Man didn't even win the fight, he just fended him off for awhile. 🙂

the jla COULD take the heralds at least as often as the other way 'round. but the jla can counter teleport attacks. and i've ALWAYS said ss would beat superman -- unless t-vo comes into play. i've been nothing BUT consistent on that score. could supes win without t-vo? prolly, just not often.
as for my flip-flopping -- i prefer to think of it as staying objective rather than suffering from schitzophrenia. 😄 sometimes i hear really good arguments for someone and i get swayed. fact is, MOST of these types of fights CAN go either way and good points can often be raised for both sides. it's the people who refuse to see things that way or who automatically chime in and say 'curbstomp' who should be re-evaluating how they look at fights.
oh, and lots of times i simply ADORE playing devil's advocate! 😉
but bats: are you saying that ss would be UNABLE to 'port them away and battle each seperately? (or just win via bfr . . .) i already said even if he DID it certainly wouldn't guarantee him a win (fernus is a b!tch and t-vo is very difficult to counter) but it would give him a chance, no . . .?

I'm pretty u mean subjective. I have no problem with being dissuaded, but i don't give into irrationality for the sake of being a devils advocate. 😉

Distraction or not, that's still saying leagues about Plastic Man being able to withstand Fernus when Fernus apparently easily took out the rest of the JLA. Don't try to take away from PM's feat.

Did I say that it wasn't impressive??? 🤨 In fact, it's the opposite of that. I told Soleran that he was underrestimating PM in the first place. However, he had his facts wrong, and I corrected him. Plastic Man served as a distraction, PERIOD. I'm not taking anything away from him nor am I saying that it wasn't impressive, it's just that that was his job.
