So punching through the universe to another universe means what? im sorry, but I've never seen or heard of a black hole ripping through the fabric of time and space.
Either way, it looked like an ancient comic from the days when even Spiderman could fall off of a building and acieve speeds to go through time. It was a mostly crap writing era.

Most of what Superman does is crap writing, but I accept it for hat it is; a comic.

So how does that make Supermans feat greater than Thors?
He made sure that the absolute most powerful force in the universe couldn't open and was using every ounce of his strength to close it? 😐 Well shoot, if you're going to show Silver Age Thor's strength feats, then I'll show Pre-Crisis Superman's strength feats. 😗 I don't think you want to go there. 😐

You hate these strength feats don't you ? 😉But for once, I agree with you : DC characters are sometimes too powerful. But still, it's in continuity and Superman did it.
Thor feat seems to be equal. A Black hole is an area of space-time with a gravitational field so intense that its escape velocity is equal to or exceeds the speed of light, and Thor punched through it.
