Current Supes is probably nearly on par with pre crisis Supes, minus the rediculous science behind most of Pre's feats.
umm i think getting chopped up to restore time and space, is most likely up there with some of the stupidest feats ever!!!!

no its just that that was RETARDED. is he turning back into pre crisus supes. first of all the cut up part, and being alive one.
next he repairs rips in time, that has to be the stupidest thing ever. you cant possibly believe there isnt pis involved...
can you?!!?!?!?! 🤨 😐 😑

Your hate of Superman is disturbing.

You pitted 2 powerful characters against each other, and when one is shown to have insane durability, you complain?

Do you want a curbstomp? If so, there is no need for this thread.

no im saying about that one stupid feat. the other ones didnt bother me. but that one was pis at max.

im actully quite fond off supes, but i dont think he should beat thanos, ever( unless the logic defying pc supes)

Ok, now I see where your confusion lies.

The Superman you are probably thinking about is the John Byrne Supes. That version is severely toned down and couldn't handle these types of situations.

Ever since his "resurrection" he's been powered up...similar to how Thanos has.

Sorry, but if you turn off anyones powers and put them into a hand to hand prep free fight against the Man of Tomorrow, I'm siding with Supes more often than not.

Yep. Each year in the sun he gets stronger. Or learns more about himself and his powers. Such as how ever since his death, he doesn't usually get weaker as a battle ensues, but stronger and stronger in vast amounts... unless something is specifically weaknening him.

thats where my next point is, the guy has been around for about half a century, and hes starting to get powerupps?!?!?!?!?!?!

He's been around longer than half a century, and what do you mean by 'starting to get powerups"?

Well, what powerups would precrisis Superman need? He could do practically whatever he wanted.

After the crisis in the 80's, John Byrne Supes was created. Unfortunately, he was WAY too toned down. What's the point to SUPERman if he can't do anything SUPER to amaze you in his storylines?

After his "death" Superman started getting decent upgrades again.

The original Supes kept getting stronger too, 1985 gave us 'current' Supes, and he started out being able to lift like a house and run as a fast as a Nascar auto, and got stronger ever since. Just as the original could "leap tall buildings" and was "faster than speeding bullet", eventually became able to vibrate through time and go multiples of lightspeed and tow around planets. It's how the Supermen work, they keep getting stronger and stronger.

Yep, John Byrne took over The Man of Steel after the Crisis on Infinite Earths, and reinvented the character.

John Byrne Superman is post crisis Supes. He just started getting upgrades after his "death."

From what I've seen however...Post crisis Superman IS earth 1 Precrisis Supes. When Earth 2 Supes pushed him through the portal out of the anti monitors dimension, his memories were altered to fit in with the new continuity. If this is true, at any moment DC could have him have an insane powerup.

Yep. That's how I took it too.

In the words of the infamous Kool aid.

TRUE COSMIC POWER!

they should have just left him pc, at least then his actions were explainable(kind of) but i still think thanos wins.

so everyone agrees thanos wins.
