PC Darkseid was skyfather level. Top end skyfather, but still on that level.
As was the original Galactus.
Thats why Kirby had them as equals.
But Galactus has gone up, by many leagues, while Darkseid has stagnated.
The only time PC Darky was truely above skyfather level, was the GDS, when he absorbed the power of many other powerful beings.
And that wasn't the norm for the guy.
Theres a reason why many comic stores used to put the IG Saga right next to the GDS Saga.
And Darkseid and Highfather are pretty much two different sides of the same coin. They were equals during the PC era.
So that means that you feel Highfather is around 50% of Galactus??

You guys are forgetting many things:
Pro-Darksied
1) Darksied possesses the Omega Effect which I beleive may very well nullify Onslaught if it came into contact.
2) Darksied is a little above Thanos in terms of sheer physical might, and Thanos is on par with Hulk and Drax the Destroyer. Angry Hulk ripped away at Onslaught's armor. Does that mean Hulk can beat Onslaught? No...but he definately took away a layer of his defenses.
I am pretty confident that PIS ASIDE, Darksied can do the same thing.
Pro-Onslaught
1) Onslaught can mindwipe Darksied. Instant K.O.
2) If the Omega Effect is used, and Onslaught sees it coming he can easily freeze it in time/space, or possibly nullify/backfire the omega effect itself (if he had Franklyn Richard's powers)
3) Onslaught had unlimitted psychic ability....he was a God in the Astral Place...the fact that Hulk beat him down is TOTAL PIS..and a desperate way to end the Onslaught Saga, because REALISTICALLY Onslaught was wayyyyy above Hulk's level.
So if you are going to ignore Darksied's PIS, then you ALSO have to ignore Onslaught's PIS.
Both of these contendors have enough ability to defeat the other....I don't beleive this is a matter of who is stronger, smarter, more evil, or more versatile.
I think this is all a matter of HOW the story would be WRITTEN if the fight WERE to ever occur.

ill have to agree with u but with one thing...sorry..i feel thanos deffinalty got the sheer mite thing over Darkseid..Thanos fought thor hulk, the thing at the same time, and held his own, accually he did beat the crap out of all of them in my opinion..another thing is Thanos did exchange blows with Warrior maddness Thor (10x stonger than a normal thor, also thor had the power gem) and held his own..
