I have nothing against Darksied himself...written RIGHT he should be able to defeat Onslaught, simply because Darksied HAS the experience necessary to do so..i mean battling with other Gods prior to this fight.
Onslaught was a one shot deal, as powerful as he is, and as MUCH as a physical and powerful match I feel HE IS for Darkseid....
Darkseid has the experience and intelligence advantage. I say this because Darkseid has been a schemer much longer (even though he fails repeatedly and sorely)......
Onslaught's defeat WAS TOTAL PIS though...you have to realize that....he was on a MUCH HIGHER level than Hulk to be defeated in that way, it was a desperate attempt on the writer's part to "hurry up" and end the Onslaught Saga......

ill have to agree with u but with one thing...sorry..i feel thanos deffinalty got the sheer mite thing over Darkseid..Thanos fought thor hulk, the thing at the same time, and held his own, accually he did beat the crap out of all of them in my opinion..another thing is Thanos did exchange blows with Warrior maddness Thor (10x stonger than a normal thor, also thor had the power gem) and held his own..

I still find the very fact that HULK was even ABLE to crack Onslaught's armor as PIS.
Has Hulk ever been able to crack through Silver Surfer's metallic like skin? No.....
Onslaught was considered a cosmic being....even the Astral diety like beast Shadow King feared him. Even Apocalypse stayed out of his way.

The Anti-Monitor here is weakened, but he absorbs the entire power of his universe to help balance it out, and he still has enough power after absorbing the rest of his universe that he's crushing Golden Age Superman and Superboy Prime with one hand. Darkseid uses his resources to establish a link between himself and Alex Luthor, allowing him to "gaze" through Luthor's eyes, and then channels an enormous energy blast through him. A well written Darksied, should be completely out of the range of being defeated by the entire JLA. Darksied has an entire planet, hordes of super powered lackeys, other Gods under his command, and his own Near Omnipotent arsenal of powers. Telepathy and Reality altering really mean nothing to a sky Father. He is not only a sky Father, He is literally the sky Father. Being more powerful than all other Gods under him except for High/Father. He is as powerful as Galactus. Onslaught can't conjure up anything that can be more than a bother to a well written Darksied. All this crap that has been put out by Superman writers is well just crap.
