But not to do so would compromise his faith. Christianity teaches that the truth be told and that the mislead be brought "into the fold" so in a way he is obligated to say what he has said. According to his faith he is correct in everything I have seen him say so far.

This is simply irrelevant. It disproves nothing I have said. I merely stated that he has been disrespecful in his own way. He feels that other people have been disrespectful to him, while many others feel he has been disrespecful to them.

Yes, I would put the prophets in a category similar to pagan Oracles - they supposedly where in commune with gods as well. Or maybe the readers of the I Ching (Book of Changes) - they are said to be tapping into God, the Universe, the Divine flow whatever. Is that a fair categorization?

But then again sorcerers, as opposed to Magi, are also said to be tapping into something greater then themselves. Commonly they would not believe it was a demon (since demonologists believed they were the ones who dealt with daemons/divas etc)

Prophets do not commune with gods. God speaks through the prophet by pouring the Spirit on them. Much different than sorcery which involves the sorceror controlling and manipulating the effect of their 'spell' for lack of better word. Prophets surrender control and do not directly effect the material world or other people against their will as is evident even in so-called 'white magic'. Prophets simply speak the Word and then allow have it interpreted by someone who possesses the spiritual gift of the interpreting prophecy.
