Has anyone ever used a ouija board here? I've heard pretty consistent things but I don't know. could be a trick.

I have, and it is a trick.

In people's mind it does. But the only thing those stuff does is just talking to the devil or demons.

I always thought that it was just to conveniant to access a spirit world through something you can pick up at the mall. Thanks. 😮‍💨

Are the bleeding statues tricks too? I'm skeptical about them as well...

Chris Angels tricks look like sorcery of some kind. All jokes aside, how does he do these insane tricks?

Step 1: Hire an audience to look surprised when you do magic.
Step 2: Buy video editing software.

😆 Are you serious! I'm mad that I fell for that shit! Are you guys sure? What about the levitation and crap, nobodies got him on a cell phone or nothin? I was wondering if it was video tricks because on of them looked really scripted and he switched places with this dude and it just seemed like the guy took it better than I'd take teleporting for real.

For his big stuff, absolutely. The little tricks that probably can be done without cheating are more impressive in my opinion.

Well think about that episode. They showed people getting videos of him doing the trick on their cell phones. If those people weren't actors it would be possible to find amateur videos of it, people would upload them to YouTube. But those videos don't seem to exist.

The videos that do exist expose him BAD! Well Chris Angel aside I was wondering does Nostradamus predictions count as documented proof of prophecy. 😮‍💨

No, because the way Nostradamus wrote leads to postdiction, not prophecy. That aside, if you look at the % of quatrains that are claimed to be true, and compare them to the rest, the result falls within the probability of chance.

That makes sense to me.

The number of people who have credibly debunked Nostradamus is too big to list. And those who endorse Nostra. usually use the same logical fallacies, if not outright lies, in order to further their claims. There is money to be made off of the gullible, so there is incentive to bury thorough analysis.

James randi is one of the more entertaining authors to have addressed Nostradamus with I believe several books (at least one that I'm aware of). I'd recommend his works as a place to start if you want a skeptical inquiry into the works of Nostradamus, especially removed from any selective bias or those wishing to profit from the predictions somehow.
