Just got back after seeing The Dark Knight. Not leaving spoilers. I will say that this IS the best comic book adaptation there is. Heath truly gives an emotional and excellent performance. Truly, truly oscar worthy. Its definitely worth sitting there for 2 1/2 hours. I love Jack Nicholson as the Joker, but Heath Ledger's version is truly one for the ages and a much truer interpretation. That is all I'll say because you guys must see what I'm talking about when I say that Ledger's Joker is a true interpretation of the Joker. We can discuss more on friday and saturday when we have all seen it and I'm going back not only on friday night, but also on saturday afternoon as well.
I just got back, ****ing loved every second. I still have to get up for work, so this will be brief, ill post more later. Hands down the best comic book movie ever. Heath may not win the award from teh snooty academy, but you wont find a performance that sucks you in more. Every time the Joker shows up, it feels like a surprise.
