Saw it this afternoon at 2 pm, I rushed to the theater right after my test
What can I say about the movie: It is simply awesome, epic, great.
The pacing is fast, and so much happens in the movie, even though it's 2hr and 30min long, you don't feel like any minute gets wasted...
The introduction of the Joker is great, but his self introduction to the mob is even better...
I actually felt a bit uncomfortable laughing at what this guy did (I mean The Joker, not Heath Ledger). It is funny, it just that it's so sick and demented, it makes me wonder if it is ok for me to laugh... he's so twisted...
It is Incredible what kind of force of nature the Joker is, what he manages to do the city...simply demented... the chaos, how he gets in your head, and how he enjoys it
The fights are great as well, very well choreographed and fast moving, it feels real, plus they're longer and there's so much ass kicking (poor pooches)
and the bat-pod... droolio
Nolan cinematography it's simply amazing, The shots of the city (ies) the action sequences, the fights, everything it's done in a beautiful way. The Score (and the Editing) complement the movie perfectly. Even though you think you know what's gonna happen, the score makes you feel the tension, and anticipation of what's going to happen (there are many moments like that in the movie) It's incredible how Nolan makes you feel a a wide array of emotions throughout this movie...
ohhh, and Dent... god dammit, Two-face looks so great on screen. Even if we didn't have the Joker in this movie, Dent would have suffice... the script would have been a whole different issue though.... "half" droolio
All praises aside... I think there will be some people who won't like it as much, and some will rant about it (hopefully it won't be many) and that's it's something that somehow diminish the rating I would give this movie, but everything else it's so freaking sweet, it still is a masterpiece. The Batman "voice" still bothers me, though. Thankfully, he doesn't speak that much... so it's ok

Barbara Gordon (BatGirl), they never mention her, we don't even get to see her face, but she's there, or Ramirez (I think it was Ramirez), we actually find out who she is, and what she did only when two-face threatens her

but I understand why this happens, the script and the tone, or message of the movie needed it, still
