Besides, what cult lets in an eighth level cleric? That's only fourth level spells. Pffft. If I were in charge, you'd have to be able to cast at least sixth level spells. Exceptions could be made in the case of blackguards or other, similar classes.

Good point, if my AD&D memory serves well, whats the best spells allowed at 8th level? Cure serious wounds? Atonement?... You shouldn't be allowed until you can at very least cast Flame Strike.
