Jack and lizzie

hopefully the 3rd one will be a shocker with relationships landing in all the right places.
i have asked several friends and they all still think Will and Liz are going to end up together. It made me realize how much i really REALLY want Jack and Liz to get together, even though I will like it no matter what. I just dont want to be disappointed by the outcome of everything. I can see them going either way.... like, just explain away all the hints in the 2nd one by Tia having a little "i was messing with the compass" speech and talk to liz about how "jack just represents freedom, but ultimately you will be happier with will" etc.... OR they could go the complete opposite and make jokes about how Liz switches fiances every movie, while she and jack work out their differences and make out, er, i mean, live happily ever after.

The last in the trilogy always shocks..its meant to break boundaries and throw all the rules away. 🤣

Yeh i mean all the cast have been saying it especially the main 3..they say its gonna be a total shocker.

Yeh in interviews and stuff they keep saying it.

someone asked johnny what the producers at Disney thought of the shocking moments in the second one and he says "They are cool with it...They haven't seen the third yet though" lol

as each is going along its breaking the mould disney has set for itself.

Say Tia was Davy's woman, she became attracted to Jack/the lifestyle and slept with him thus making her leave Davy at the alter and him going and ripping his heart out. After all she said she slept with Jack..

This would make the Will/Davy similarity even more of a similarity because Liz is also falling for Jack in this way.

I think (hope) that Pirates 2 is setting us up for the coupling of Jack and Lizzie - the chemistry between them is soooo much stronger than between her and Will. The first time I watched Pirates2 I didn't catch it - but the second time I realized there are so many hints that Disney drops - I know she betrays him in the end - but even then you can feel her pain in making the decision. She may have done it cuz she was feeling guilty and didn't want to have to break Will's heart by choosing Jack. I know he's old enough to be her father, but back in those days it was not uncommon for a woman to marry someone 20 years older than herself. The kiss that Lizzie and Jack share at the end is so much hotter and sexier than any kiss she ever shared with Will. The compass pointing to Jack on those 2 occasions was no mistake - she is definetly fighting her true feelings for Jack. It's that forbidden love that makes it so interesting.....without the love interest between jack and lizzie established in Pirates 2 -I don't know if I would have enjoyed it so much...because of it - I enjoyed it more than the first.

I actually think that she was enjoying betraying him and kissing him but only started to feel what she had lost afterwards. He was enjoying it too. They were both totally cought up in the moment. She gave into what he wanted of her and she loved it just like he said she would..and thats what was making him smile at her.

It pointed at jack 3 times not two lol. And I also think that when Jack was holding it, it was pointing at Liz but he thought it was broken. (I'll go into why if you want me to)

Notice how her relationship with Will is mirroring Davy Jones' tragic love story..Tia also said to Will "there is a destiny about him" and as she was telling everyone about Davy ripping his heart out the scene focused heavily on Will and his reaction to what she was saying.

I think its his destiny to cut his heart out at the loss of Elizabeth(and Tia knows this). Liz is going to leave Will at the Alter I reckon. Disney said there was going to be a wedding but this doesn't mean its going to end happily. Davy Jones' sure didn't.

The director also talks about the similarity between the two love stories and how they both similarly went/going wrong.

Come to think of it. If this trilogy ends with Will turning into some sort of unnatural creature after cutting his heart out..THATS going to draw people back for a 4th movie for sure and maybe another trilogy. Its going to be the ultimate shock OMG moment in the trilogy.. The next trilogy could be about bringing Will back. Will the next big bad? I would watch that for sure!! And i would be on the edge of my seat hoping that they can save him.

Rather alot like Anikin in star wars..and how successful was the star wars saga ay?
