If I remember correctly, from her posting on the subject in the "on homosexuality and religion" thread her reasoning basically goes something like this:

I love the fact that the majority of people who oppose things like gay marriage, struggle to spell their own name, it's a marvel they remember to breath.

Don't care really, gay, bi, tri, quadrupole, do whatever you want. Actually come to think of it if it results in the spontaneous combustion of Pat Robertson and the Panzer Pope then I'm all for it. I find "religious morality" to be an oxymoron anyway.

I guess what I am getting at is - maybe it is wrong to base a discrimitory practice upon a story that may or may not be anymore then that - a story. And even if we did perhaps we should note that humanity has changed a fair bit and devloped all kinds of wacky concepts like empathy and equality.
