I don't think that gays should be free to get married, but I don't think that their marriages should be considered the same as a marriage between a man and a woman.

No, I'm just saying that it shouldn't be called a just plain "marriage", I think there ought to be a different name for it. "Gay marriage" will suffice. Just as it is right now.

No, it is fine. And from what I have heard it seems plenty of gay people would be more then satisfied with having a slightly different title if it effectively meant the same thing and afforded them the same rights and legal protections as a heterosexual marriage.

I just think we should have marriage. Which should include all unions between consenting adults.

And....should not be recognized by the state at all.
