In her comic and Action Comics. Oh and the JLA. Actually this pissed of alot of Superman fans and DC purists in the late 80s and early 90s when Bryne and Perez decided to go on their "WW is second to Superman!" parade. Captain Marvel didn't show up until the mid-nineities. DC purists thought the status quo would be put in place again...but that was until Bryne started writing Wonder Woman (and gave her a horrible costume to boot) and tooted the "WW is second to Superman" horn again. The rest of the comics followed suit. Particularly Zero Hour and JLA.

Actually the Captain Marvel/Superman rivalry is relatively new in Post-Crisis.

It wasn't SUPPOSED to be this way because WW wasn't anywhere near Superman in powerlevels back in Pre-C.

But her completely different origin suddenly changed the status quo. And many aren't even aware of the change in the status quo. Which makes the whole issue so very controversial.

Maybe Current "New Earth" will restore the hierarchy or something...

So they always maintained that Diana is second behind Superman in stats??
Not third??
But physically, she was always just a smidge behind him??

In strength, a smidge or tad behind him.

In speed, they were all over the place. Actually Diana wasn't very fast when she first appeared in Post...but she suddenly got a HELL of alot faster when Bryne took editorial wheels.

In durability, that's obvious a difference. Bryne maintained that they were relatively equal in pure power but not durability.

Other WW writers have tried to restore Diana to her "roots" by making her unable to fly and severely dampening her strength but that didn't last long....

Then the fact that Superman and Marvel were stalemated in an armwrestling match lends credence, to the belief that Marvel may be a smidge ahead of her in strength?? No lightning fists or other aids...
That can be deduced rather easily right??

And the fact that in Underworld Unleashed, Cap took down a team that had her and MM iirc?? Doesn't lend itself to the fact that Cap maybe a bit above??

Tell me if i'm going down the wrong road with this.

What he is doing is proving his point, something you are not doing. Draco69 knows more about WW than you and I put together. I know this, it is time you accepted it as well.

WW gets praise for handling an all out" omg thats godly levesl of power!!" Superman, while Cap Marvel survived the Spectre first round.

Cap taking on Spectre >>> WW handling a pissed off Superman.

MM and WW were both mind controlled. NO way Cap Marvel Can take down Those two at the same time. Once, Martian Manhunter merged his body with Diana's down to the cellular lvl to jump start her soul and hear. IN a battle, he could merge with her, and move with fluidity by reading her mind and they would have crushed Marvel. Captain Marvel is good, very good. He just isn't Diana. She is more powerful, stronger, Faster, smarter, and a better fighter. She has the collective knowledge of the amazons and was once a Goddess herself. He has Shazam. BOOO!

And WW has never been shown to be equal to Superman. Never.

The armwrestling thing i spoke of above, is a testament to how DC views Cap in comparison to Superman.
WW is and always was behind Superman.

I'll give you better fighter. But powerful, intelligence, strength and speed are all debateable.
