Yes. She is. That's why she was created. She wasn't born by clay for the hell of it. No, she was created for the sole purpose of being the champion of the gods and the chosen bestowed with their powers for three reasons:
1) To defeat Ares. He was wrecking havoc on Olympus.
2) To spread the word of the Greek Gods.
3) To make sure that the Greek Gods continue to exist via faith. Without faith, they don't exist anymore.

I been reading comics for years And have about 50,000 of them. From my collection And my dads And grand dads. I know that this list seems to be the order of how things work. In terms of raw strength this is the way the list goes. When you add in things like skill, speed, other powers, the list flip flops some. You get Martian Manhunter And Maxima moving up. Maxima actually Knocked doomsday off his feat when she was blood lusted. But she was also very jealous of Wonder Woman's Power. And this was before Diana Got her power boost. And she's about to get another one. And the things that give Captain Marvel And edge over Superman dont' apply to Wonder Woman. His magical Lighting won't do squat against a being composed of pure magic And who can deflect what ever he can throw at her.

Cap. Marvel was created to be an antagonist to Superman. A twin even.
So even though current Cap. Marvel isn't as fast or strong as Superman, he'll be that way when ever they fight just to keep the status quo.
What caused this mess is the reworking of Diana' origin in Post-Crisis continuity. That's why CM suddenly got trumped as second strongest because her powers are radically and completely different from Pre-Crisis.

I have never seen WW portrayed as dominant against someone in Supermans class as Black Adam has.
He dismisses him, and i can't see WW doing so.
He also seems to pwn the JSA occasionally, and i can't see WW doing the same.
He just seems to operate a cut above her, and imo a cut above is where Superman stands.
And since i always saw BA= CM, by default he's > WW in stats, imo.
WW is the most powerful female on Earth, with her superman comparable stats and defensive equipment and her better than average skills in hth.
I just don't see her as truly second most powerful on DC earth statwise.
I see Superman = CM, BA > Supergirl => WW.

And Draco, Hulk and Wolverine aren't rivals. Rivals mean comparable.
