A boost to a GOD"s power? Not even. And Captain Marvel's powers do not all come from gods. Some of his powers come from Human beings and Demi-Gods. Diana is the God's chosen child period. You think zeus is gonna be lending his lighting to a being who could best his very own?
In every trading card I have, every who's who, every description of Wonder Woman, it puts her at either SuperMan's only equal, or as the 2nd most powerful Hero to Superman. He draws his strength from the sun so I can see him being the strongest being on Earth. But she draws her strength from two Earth Goddesses, and the Earth itself. Captain Marvel is not messing with that kind of might.

You are correct.

However it's more likely do to editorial inconsitencies. We have one camp who vouches Captain Marvel as second to Superman while we have another that vouches that Wonder Woman is second to Superman. Which makes it very confusing.

Captain Marvel is NOT the champion of the gods. That's Diana's title. Athena even calls her the "champion". It's an actual title she received when she defeated Ares and saved Olympus from destruction.

She has a magic lasso that she could use to make him turn back into billy. ALL she has to do is ask him something like, who is the wizard that gave you your powers and he is puddy before her might. If you actually read into CM's origin you'll notice that CM only gets a fraction of the god's powers bequeathed by Shazam the Wizard.

Diana on the hand got it DIRECTLY from the gods and in sum totality. She quite literally has the speed faster than Hermes, the strength of Gaea and Demeter, etc.

CM can supposedly (never shown in Post-Crisis continuity) boost his powers temporarily by harnessing the Power of Zeus but it's debatable to say that it will surpass Diana's strength/speed levels when he starts out with a fraction of the gods' powers while Diana gets them all.

Especially when CM has to share the power with his sister and best friend. That means he gets even less power...

They only fought once. Diana was considerably weakened from facing an uber-cosmic Hectate (took down the JLA AND the GLC) when she faced him (mind-controlled by the Roman Gods). Nobody won, they stalemated until CM was freed from the mental control.

The fight only lasted like three panels, it was so short.

It's simple math, really. They get their powers from roughly the same gods however Diana gets them all since she is their favored child and CM gets a fraction of them.

Diana was MADE to be their champion. CM needed Shazam to play the go-betweener to get his powers.

She is not the ****ing chosen and can kick everyones ass just because they gave her power. To be honest i'd rather have Shazam help me out then getting them straight from the gods seems better imo cause seems like Diana got ripped off seeing as she has their power and this other guy has a FRACTION and is BETTER (not saying he is a better fighter cause I know you will bring that up like its what makes Diana who she is and can kill all...)

If the latter is the case, I do hope that he is not implicating myself. I will gladly admit that Wonder Woman is superior to many males, simply not Superman and the Shazam brothers 😬. I would certainly hope that people consider my opinion based off of comic feats, and not off of some petty prejudice.
