I probably wouldn't either, but like I said...the projection comparisons were awfully convincing. I won't say I'd never take him...just that the situation would need to be right.

Second question:
Bears D seems to be the consensus overall, but people forget that the Ravens outscored them in most leagues last year. And the Pats have new weapons on both sides of the ball. Who's #1 on D?

no were not i reactivated last years league a few days ago and sent invites to the new people who gave me their e-mails.

A few years ago I won my league championship with Chris Simms at QB for the championship game. I used like 5 or 6 different QB's through out the season.

So I just tiered most of my positions. I love this time of year for fantasy...reading up on all kinds of projections and predictions, using intuitive "football sense" to pick out players I like/dislike....and basically excuses to make detailed lists. I like lists. Draft season will be a hoot. 4 leagues will kinda blow, but 4 legit chances to test draft strategies in a serious setting is like a wet dream for me.

Also, forum has convinced me (sort of). We also have 8 teams (right?) so Manning isn't really on my radar....I wish I was in a bigger league in one of my leagues (for a different approach) but a bunch of smaller ones will suffice.

Lists rule. Why do you think I like working in kitchens.

Yeah, you need an even amount of people.

But I would still play, I love fantasy but I dont know anybody near me, or friends who give a shit about fantasy football, so its tough to play one.

Hey, just out of curiosity...

...what would be the logistical issues with setting a league up that was for actual money?? I always figured it wouldn't be terribly hard. Just a Paypal account and mutual trust in the person recieving and distributing the winnings.

It's too late now, and I'm just as happy playing without money involved...but it always kinda intrigued me.

I never was an huge gambler.

As far as draft Sunday after noon or evening is what I imagine will work the best for the most amount of us. But throw your opinions/preferences out there if you have any.

I'm pretty open.

My job has gotten a bit crazy (fired the chef, so I'm pretty much the only guy who can actually work all stations), but I told the GM that I might need a few days off here and there, so I'm pretty open. Sunday will probably work, and if I do work, morning will do well.

But there has to be 1 more guy that can join. Who else can play?

strangelove and the mayor both claimed to of wanted to. Although I am a bit hesitant to put someone in the league that took a week or 2 to just sign up. Thats not a good sign that they will pay any attention to the league. But ill try to see whats goin on with them.
