We all choose a day, then the time instead of all the same time. I dont care what day it is along its in the morning of that day. Maybe, I'll get lucky and the draft day goes on a day I have off, but well, I cant see that far in the future.
Okay. If I had to choose a day and time, it would be a Saturday between 9AM and 3PM EST. But like I said earlier, I'm perfectly fine Autodrafting my team, so forum should just pick a date and time like it was said a few posts ago.

I just got some exciting news, and now I'm only going to be in 3 leagues....2 for money (one of them my own), then KMC's league. 3 I can handle. 4 was going to be too much. And one will have a live draft in some dude's garage. Fun times.
I always wondered about how you guys do a draft not online.
I've seen it in commercials, but how long does it take to setup?

I did it before when I was still in college. Just had a bunch of people over at my apartment and I had a laptop out and inputted our picks as we went. We had a timer to limit the time you had to pick and a bunch of beer.
Live drafts are sweet, because it gives you an opportunity to talk smack to the person sitting next to you, and BS about football (and usually drink) while simultaneously trying to have a good draft. And everyone wears jerseys....it's like an unspoken rule. And it's safer to wear a retired player's jersey, because if you're wearing, say, an LT jersey and don't have the first pick, ridicule will ensue.
The league I've been in the past couple years that does a live draft goes all out. We have a projector big-board where the commish enters in our picks as the draft progresses and it's on a viewscreen for everyone to see.

That actually sounds pretty entertaining.
Like I said, I'm Canadian, crazy fantasy footballing is strickly an underground sport (we might get attack by the ravenous hockey fans with the blades of death, and frozen pucks)

Bummer.
..
And the 19th is fine for me...I don't have a time preference.

Probably. 4 hour difference, right? That's 7AM. Ugh!
it is 3 hours difference so its 8:00 am.
We have a different problem though. With 9 teams it is giving 5 teams a bye every week instead of just 1 team. So I am not sure what to do about it.
For now I set it to 11:45 eastern so thats 8:45 west coast. Its just one day a year I think you can roll from the bed to the computer right?
I just did a Mock draft on ESPN to see what people are thinking. It actually was a good one, had 10 people and everyone was actively chatting through the first 6 rounds or so then a few started dropping out and auto picking.
This is the team I ended up with...
QB: Mcnabb
RB: Rudi Johnson
RB: Clinton Portis
RB/WR: Brandon Jacobs
WR: Marvin Harrison
WR: Hines Ward
TE: Randy McMichael
D/ST: Patriots
K: Vinatieri
Bench:
RB: Adrianne Peterson
WR: Bernard Berrian
WR: DJ Hackett
QB: Alex Smith
WR: Bryant Johnson
WR: Anthony Gonzalez
TE: Greg Olsen
