Not a bad draft forum. A few too many big-name injury risks for my tastes (McNabb, Portis), and probably one too many WR sitting on the bench, but I'd be happy with a similar team.
11:45 is fine for me. I'll be there. Sucks for Darklord, but as someone who wakes up at 6AM for most of the year, I have little sympathy.
And I have no problem with 9 teams and having a bye week every now and then. Not ideal, but it won't mess things up either.
Hate to say it, but "I dont get up until 12" isnt a very good excuse. My excuse is that I work that day.
If I was in that situation, I would get up to draft. It would suck, but hey, I love being in the draft. (Why do you think I love fantasy drafting my Madden team, and spend 10 bucks, and three days making the NCAA rosters so I can draft real names in owner mode). Yeah, I know, I'm a stats geek.

I work at 3PM, I assume we should be done by then, and if not, well, I can always trade from backups when I get my starting lineup all good.
The funny thing is that I found out I have the Saturday off, which caught me by surpraise. So, if need be, I can do all day Saturday. (thats if those ****ers dont ask me to come in that day)

Also, I have 2 drafts this Sunday. Ours, then another at 3 (also online). Nice warm-up for my money-league drafts on Sept. 2...even though I'm taking all 4 seriously (yes, 4).

Haha...I had him in the first round of my money-league last year. How do you think I felt?
But honestly, his O-line's better and Garcia is a steady producer at QB...he'll be better than last season and will drop hella-far in drafts because of last season. If I pick him up in a middle round as a #3 RB, I'll be thrilled.

....the early rounds were intelligent enough, but after about 5 rounds everyone goes to auto-pick, and it makes for an unrealistic draft. Everyone ends up with about 7 RBs. Only 4 defenses were picked before Round 16, which would NEVER happen in a real draft.
I realize my bench sucks. RBs were going at an idiotic rate, and after a while I was sticking around to see how it played out. Bryant was a joke pick, for example.
Still, not bad if you want a realistic 4-5 rounds. And everyone's fairly smart who does mock drafts, so there aren't too many shady picks like you'd normally see.

I dont know why it would be useful but sure.
Last year, I won the regular season with LT, but I wouldnt even come close if I didnt have good production from my WR spots and that is why I came out first in the regular season.
Throwing away the first three picks is dumb. Even if LT scores 40 points a game, you still need 60 more and thats hard to come by using waiver pickups and steals.

In one of ym 2 money-leagues, we got a "homer" to play. He's going to draft the entire Saints offense. Not the worst he could do, but still screwed. He's smart enough to know that RBs go first, so it'll be: Bush, Brees, Colston, Deuce?, who knows.....in other words, laughably bad.
...which is fine by me. An easy $20 to add to the pot for the rest of us.

Well, I give him credit. Atleast Bush, Brees, Colston and Duece will score him some points.
But not the victory. But I hardly think he will have a chance to do that. Bree's in my opinion will be the 2nd-3rd QB taken and once Palmer goes, I think everybody will try to get Brees, but thats in general, not acutally your league.
