I think this year is going to be a tad different for people after pick 3. I'm at 6th and I might have a chance to get Alexander with the 6th pick this year. That's nuts.
In my opinion, guys with last 4 picks should do well with the abundent of talent available. By the time the first guy picks in the second (I'm assuming its like last year) all the really good backs will be gone, and those guys who draft late could possibly get Alexander and Westbrook on the same team. It's crazy.
Set my alarm already for 10 so I can my morning iced latte and paper, then I'll be there. If I'm not, its only because of my net connection and I'll probalby be in jail for shooting the cable rep. Later.
In larger leagues it's impossible to predict trends, but with 8 I feel like nothing so crazy is going to happen to throw me off. As always, I'm just drafting talent, but the position order is always the killer, and varies based on league size and settings.

This'll be interesting, becaus he hasn't been around a ton. Even if he doesn't pay attention, LT can possibly carry him to a decent record. Honestly though, I'd be more scared with an active owner with LT....so if DL shows up, we could be in for a battle.

And we all have pretty stacked teams for those of us who took the draft seriously. My two standouts are Bears D and Gates, but I like my WRs better than most too (Holt, Fitz, Walker).

As for the draft itself, you knew what time the draft was in advance. Sleeping in isn't an excuse. Work is, which is why it needed to be as early as it was. As someone who regularly gets up around 6 AM to go to work, you sound like a spoiled brat...christ, just roll over to your cpu in your pajamas. Is it really that hard?
You even had the opportunity to pre-rank players more carefully if you thought you weren't going to be there, but apparently you failed to do even that.
No one was picking for you. That's impossible for even the commishoner to do. If it wasn't set in your pre-rankings, your choice was based off of ESPN's ranks because you hadn't shown up yet.
All in all, it's entirely your fault if you are upset with your draft. So quit whining like a schoolgirl and blaming others.

In other news:
I had my 2nd draft. Some of the same players seem to fall to me. I have Romo in both, Brandon Jackson, Greg Jennings and Berrian, and Chicago D. But we're starting 19, including 4 defensive starters, so everything else is very different.

Um WHAT? I scheduled this draft time well in advance. Everyone had a chance to say "No I cant make it" Only 1 person voiced concern and that person was not you. (also their concern was just that they would have to wake up early, which any human should be able to handle) You never once said hey can we maybe try to push it back 30 minutes because im too lazy to get up at quarter to 9? I even posted it in EVERY time zone (US) multiple times to make sure everyone understud when it was. If it is that hard for you to get your ass out of bed you should of said something BEFORE the draft. By the way we waited about 10 minutes before we started to give people time who were running late. Also you only stayed for a couple of picks and then you put it back on auto pick again, so be mad at yourself and no one else. You act like we asked to you get up at 5 am for this thing what is so unreasonable about 8-9 am welcome to REAL LIFE
