Fluffy Puppies, Attack!

*Smasandian is overwhelmed by cuteness*

And damnit, I want to know the draft order. It's hard planning a draft (even half-ass planning a draft) without all the info. I want to know if I can count on Alexander/Johnson/LT/etc., or if I'll be drafting with a different strategy.

i agree with digi. if we can do the espn random order all we need is a time. i am free at just about any time over the next week or so.

Probably a weekend, since any weekday and you'll have people who are at work. Sunday's are good for me....any time, really.

well you can do any size league really, less owners require bigger starting rosters to require teams to go deeper, to still reward drafting well all the way through.

oh check the settings, if anyone has some complaints/suggestions/ideas lemme know.

well when do we want to try to get everyone together in order to do this thing? i am free sundays any time as well.

forumcrew how are we going to do the draft do you know. are we doing it through espn or are we doing it here. if we are doing it here how are we going to determine order?

live will always be prefered, but if a time cant be agreed upon we can do it here and um you guys can trust me to randomly do the draft order? I could automaticaly put myself in the middle or something if trust is a factor lol.

IF, again I-F, Braylon Edwards is ready to go for the start of the season...

He or Reggie Brown, PHI?

I watch the Browns every single time they're on TV and the Steelers aren't playing ('cause they're in the division), and I often forget that Winslow and Edwards are even on the team. Hope that answers your question.

What do you guys know/think about Cedric Houston, RB, NYJ?

I think the Jets suck.

Houston's stock rose a bit with the Curtis Martin injury that may end his career. But there's still oodles of backs I'd take before him....he probably wouldn't crack my top 40.

And Braylon's a risk, but he might pan out. It's really whatever your gut tells you about him.

I'm Cornbread Mangler in the league, BTW. First name is Chris if you need to e-mail me throughout the season. (not that anyone will remember this random post, but at least I put it out there).

id take reggie brown over edwards, the browns have a redzone TD machine in jurevicious. Cedric Houston may be able to start but he may not. Last I heard the jets would be going out in the market to find a RB if Martin is indeed done.

If Kellen and Braylon come along, Jurevicious might come down some even though I'd still have him higher than either of those 2. I like to stay away from Cleveland anyway, but all 3 will probably contribute some. And the Browns will be down a lot and having to pass, so they're probably not horrible late-rounders...especially Jurevicious.

And I've never done a draft in a league that starts 9. I'm looking forward to it for the draft experience, though I've done 7 more than once so it's not too far off.

i like leagues with deeper starting rosters, really requires you to go deep in the draft cause 1 big super star cant carry a team as easily.

Tatum Bell's freaking worthless. Can't even get a trade for him at this point (and I've tried with a LOT of other RBs, some of which might be kinda suspect themselves). I'm left with Dominic Rhodes and Duckett if Cadillac goes down...not a reassuring thought.

And any luck getting 2 more for the league?? If worse comes to worse, we can just announce it in the OTF or something...2 people will bite in no time.

Well, this NFL thread gets about 4-5 of the regulars during the year, while during the season, we get another 10-15, and when its superbowl, it gets blown out.

And heck, they got 12 guys for a fantasy soccer league. If we do any recruiting at all I'm sure we can make a full league.

Just wondering here, how the hell do you have a fantasy soccer league? Are the weekly scores something like 1 to 0? "I am the fantasy soccer champion...back in week 7 one of my guys actually scored a goal...I win the league championship by a cumulative score of 1 to 0 to 0 to 0 to 0 to 0 to 0 to 0 to 0 to 0. Yay."

Maybe you get a point if the guy kicks a cornerkick or makes a successful pass, or even rips off his jersey at the end of a game.

You'd have to talk to Deano for the details. But even defenders and such get dozens of points a year. And the best players are in the hundreds. So it's more than just goals...though obviously a bit different than stat-driven games like american football and baseball

Hey. Idea...

What if we did a "live" draft, but made a thread for it and made the draft an ongoing thing?? So, it might take a day to finish a couple rounds depending on who is on at what times, but it would avoid controversy over picking a draft time.
