Fantasy Football Discussion

This is my team in the money league. Except put Desean Jackson instead of Rudi Johnson because he was cut.

How many teams in that league? If it's anything more than 8, you just raped your league-mates. Even with 8 teams, I'm a bit shocked at your RBs and WRs, though it shows with your QBs and Miller. But those positions are more easily replaceable. Nice job.

Yep, 8 team.

Looks like Rudi Johnson has been cut, and Chris Perry will be named the starter. If you're not satisfied with the backs you have right now, get him while you can before someone else in your league does.

Anybody think Steelers D is a huge drop off from Chargers D?

yes. but it doesnt matter. the difference between the top fantasy d's and the middle ones is small. same with kickers. thats why u dont draft a kicker in round 10.

Yeah, there is some defenses in some years where its good to have it. The Bears defense during their Superbowl run a couple of years ago is a good example.

I get: Drew Brees, Jonathon Stewart, Steelers D.
I give: Brett Favre, Brandon Jacobs, Chargers D.

I think it's a great trade for me, but sometimes I'm an idiot when it comes to stuff like this. 😆

yea i prolly would. Jacobs is expected to share the ball a lot and im not sure he can stay healthy. Stewart will be splitting time as well but he gets the goal line same as jacobs and he has more potential to be a feature back. Plus Brees should out perform favre by a good bit.

Perry got drafted in every league I was in except one, him getting the ball was very much expected. The question is can he hold off watson and DD and keep getting it.

Makes sense. So yeah, good RBs, but I won't gush too much. You were smart and locked up great RB/WRs while others were gobbling up QBs and top 5 TEs.

In other news, had my first suspect draft of the year (in 1 of my 2 money-leagues). I'll post it in a bit. I kept thinking the WRs were deep and waited far too long for one, instead opting for Ben R. and Witten. RBs are solid, which I never let myself skimp on, but I'm going to need big years out of consensus 25 to maybe 40-ranked WRs. I also didn't anticipate so many backup D's being chosen in a 12-team league. Dumb, sure, but little comfort when you end up with your 16th ranked D.

Yeppers, my team sucks......

I hate saying things like this before the game is over(and I bet it comes back to haunt me) but McNabb is taking a sh*t all over the Rams defense.

But I won't be watching most of the 2nd half anyway, the Phillies are on.

knee surgery in the off season. he was questionable all week.

If anyone else wants in the league or if one of you already in it have a friend that would wanna play we have a team that needs an owner. Its pretty pathetic to become a deadbeat this fast but we unfortunately already have one. Let me know asap.

PS you should all be proud your defending champion not only took care of that cowboy loving Smas but also wore his crown nicely with the top score in the league!
