What is so great about AOTC???

I agree though... they should have gotten those sabres right...

Its jsut so you can buy the boxed set next year. Then the boxed+edited prequels the next year, then the re-re-edited the next year, then the boxed re-re-edited the next year, then the whole set will be release when Lucas dies.

And then they'll release the ultimate-edition-the-way-Lucas-had-originally-intended.

And then 7 more versiona with 45 alternate endings and no extras.

And then a box set with originals and half the extra's we want.

Then another box with the other half minus one or two things... etc. etc..

we're having this conversation in like 4 threads.

Great huh?

Supurb.

We can even do it in five or six.

Lets go.

Hehehehe

hehehe

This has gotten funny...

Well, they both have at least a solid half hour of amazing scenes that are vital to the entire saga, and lots of filler in the middle.

I meant more that each episode is considered by (most) fans as the inferior of that trilogy.

Personally, I don't have a "lesser" of the PT, they all rule.

And thanks, I like the sig too. If your'e interested in one I know a guy who knows a guy....

The scenes of Anakin on Tattooine meeting the Lars, loosing his mother, and commiting his first act of dark side murder are equal (in terms of importance to the saga as a whole) to the Vader, Luke, Palps scenes in ROTJ.

ROTJ has the best space battle, ATOC has the best land battle at the end.

The opening of ROTJ is better, though I still like Obi and Ani "In Da Club". It sort of redeems the slow start to ATOC. Also worth mention is the first scene of Anakin and Palps together. Short scene, but very good setup. [/B]

Especially meeting Larse was the defining point which made it as emotional as the ending of RotJ, wasn't it? But in all honesty, I can hardly remember anything of the fourth time (in AotC) they went to Tatooine again.
That "best land battle" also didn't really impress me, it was more of playing in the background whereas the battle of Hoth was much more interesting.

Yup... the PT looks great, but emotionally it's all a bit dead.

There's emotions like cuirosity and excitement...se samoe ones present in the OT.

I think the movie starts great and ends great.

The middle ehhhh

I thought the Kamino sequences were well done. Naboo....meh.
