Axel waited until most of the others had left and he had a clear view and path to the AI. He eyed for several long moments, and seemed to be hesitating in something. Then he shrugged, turned, and left the room along with the others. The AI could wait. Now he had to meet CPO Mendez, and explain to the Chief why he hadn't seen him until now.

Mendez glanced over Kage with a stern look on his face. The Chief Petty Officer grunted as if to acknowledge the boys presence, then looked over the rest of the group that was busy making it's way down the white stairs.
"Well I hope you pansies had fun in school. It's time for the playground, trainees! It's a quick run from here, so I hope your not tired yet."
Axel stood at attention like his father had taught him. He glanced around though at all the others, from the state they were in he judged they'd been through some pretty intense physical stuff. He looked at Mendez, one eyebrow raised in a knowing fashion. He didn't think this "play ground" would be for fun. He noted the last thing Mendez said was hoping they weren't tired yet. He also noted the Spartan's hadn't all responded. Most Marines would have shouted, "Sir, no sir!" Indicating they weren't tired. He figured he'd to the same.
Axel realized by now Mendez hadn't notice he'd just arrived. Axel had missed out on everything so far, and he didn't know if it would hamper his ability in the coming task. He looked at Mendez and decided he should voice the fact. "Spartan 010 reporting as ordered, sir!" He said. He hoped he'd done it right, his dad had told him the most basic things a Marine should know when seeing a superior officer...
Kage stretched his legs back as warm, white and silver sweat dripped down his face. "When do we start sir?!" He yelled ready to take off running. He balled his hands into a fist and stood up straight. He then began to crack his knuckles as he waited for a reply from Mendez. He then stretched but of his arms out. There was a loud cracking noise as he did. And he bent down low and stretched his legs. A loud cracking noise much like his arms before. He then fully stood up and looked forward.
"Im sorry, 077." Siddartha spoke from somewhere behind the boy. "Class is over, and your going to get quite the beating from Mendez if you don't hurry. Your busy day is almost over. I advise you hide that device. The trainers will be up here to retrieve you soon enough."
Back outside Mendez gave the late arrival a scrutinizing glare. It was hard to tell whether the CPO was disappointed or satisfied with the boy.
"Move it, trainees!" He yelled after breaking eye contact. "If I catch anyone slacking, it'll be two laps around the compound!"
The children immediatly started to jog down the gravel road, following Mendez as closely as they could.
Axel grinned, ever so slightly. He'd sensed Mendez has approved it, or at least was satisifed, he'd done something right. Before starting he spent ten second breathing heavily to gather a large supply of air, and started running at a pace equal to that of Mendez. The gravity here was very low, running seemed so easy, so light, and his lungs were taking in more air much easier than before.
Kage took off Jogging slowly at first. He then began to gain speed until he jogged as fast as Mendez. "This is a nice work out sir!" He yelled and wiped the sweat away dripping down his shirt, with his hand. A smile crossed his face when his body actually began to feel light. He jumped into the air thinking he was flying. "Wow. My body it's like it's not even there." He said and jumped into the air again and stayed there for a while. Well it seemed that way to him of course. He landed back on the ground softly and continued jogging. My body feels so light! But i wonder what Sir means. Maybe i should ask but i might get hurt. He turned to Mendez slowly still jogging at his speed.
