"With all due respect, Ma'am, most of the children are still developing. The very structure of the eye will continue to grow and change for atleast another 4 years. Project SIHUD will have dropped from an 89% success rate to-" The woman dressed in a white lab coat paused as her well manicured fingers danced across her computers controls. "-To 69% chance of success. With those kind of odds how can you even consider this, doctor?"
Doctor Catherine Halsley glared at the younger woman through scrutinizing eyes. "If it were soley up to me I'd have waited another 6 years for this, Ms. Gray. The higher ups are not impressed with our work here, and I'm forced with no choice but to push the dates forward. If we wait any longer we risk loosing the entire project." Halsley folded her arms across her chest and peered over the scientists shoulder to get a look at her computer's screen. "Now, Gray, if you'd be so kind as to tell me how soon your people can ready their equipment I'd gladly appreciate it."
The young woman swiveled around in her chair to better face Halsley. "We'll have everything up and ready no later than tomorrow morning." The scientists face looked a little pale. She knew Halsley was doing what had to be done for the sake of the children. If the project failed then what would happen to all of them? But the thought of what might happen to them after the biogenetic surgery made her cringe.
Halsley was surprised at how soon the team would be able to prepare for the Spartans. She was expecting the answer to be more along the lines of a few weeks. "Thank you, Gray. I'll contact you tomorrow morning. We'll send the Spartans around noon." The doctor then turned and left the room. It was time for her to share the news with an unsuspecting Mendez.

Raevynn turned to face the boxing ring just before she left the gym. She had hoped for a nice warm shower, but it seemed she was going to have to stick around a bit a longer. If Wise wanted to fight, then she'd be more than happy too.
"Give him hell, Parker!" She yelled over the excited crowd.
