Thanks for the trailer. I've been excited for this for a while.

Thats quite a expensive cast 😎 sounds great

An Irish mob boss played by Jack Nicholson? Are you kidding me?

I'll be there opening day. 😎

Hopefully it'll be at least half as good as Infernal Affairs.

Yeah I am interested to see how the 'remake' goes. Infernal Affairs was fabulous.

The Departed is a remake? Figures......

The Departed..

I don't know if this has been made.. because I am to lazy to look.. search showed nothing so here it is..

The Departed a Martin Scorsese picture starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Jack Nicholson and Mark Wahlberg.. among other great actors like Martin Sheen and Ray Winstone..

here is a plot by some guy on IMDb..

The Departed is set in South Boston, where the state police force is waging war on Irish-American organized crime. Young undercover cop Billy Costigan (DiCaprio) is assigned to infiltrate the mob syndicate run by gangland chief Frank Costello (Nicholson). While Billy quickly gains Costello's confidence, Colin Sullivan (Damon), a hardened young criminal who has infiltrated the police department as an informer for the syndicate, is rising to a position of power in the Special Investigation Unit. Each man becomes deeply consumed by his double life, gathering information about the plans and counter-plans of the operations he has penetrated. But when it becomes clear to both the mob and the police that there's a mole in their midst, Billy and Colin are suddenly in danger of being caught and exposed to the enemy-and each must race to uncover the identity of the other man in time to save himself. But is either willing to turn on the friends and comrades they've made during their long stints undercover?

It is a remake of Hong Kong movie Infernal Affairs.. Great actors and director working on it..

there ya go.. 😂

I got to say, it doesn't look very good. I can almost guarantee it won't come close to "Infernal Affairs".

This is one of those films that kinda sneaks up on ya. Not much publicity at all about it and it opens next week.

Well I think it looks really good from the trailer. And it has a great cast aswell, and director. I was very disappointed when I found out it was an 18 though 'cause I might not be able to see it in the cinema, but I have got in for 18s before.

Looks pretty good. Im a big Martin Scorsese fan and i love his work, plus the story is very interesting and the cast is awsome. I think that this movie could be one of the best of the year.

Remakes rarely do come close to the originals though do they..

Well I've seen adverts/clips/trailers/posters/whatever over the past month or so I'd say, although I had heard of the film before this when I was browsing what films Mr. DiCaprio had coming up. Maybe it's had more publicity in the UK.

I'm Welsh..

So who do you all like best that will be in this movie?

Personally I like Damon.

I think that the three main actors looks pretty good and with good acting in the trailer, Di Caprio , Damon and Nicholson. Mark Whalberg reviews have been very positive too.
