What the hell do we know about Ragnos? All we have are some statements about him. His popularity is probably because we don't know shit about him and can only guess.

Marka Ragnos is described by the actual author's notes, and book description - not some fallible, third party character that described Sadow. Your point collapses. Marka > Sadow is fact.
