Nate Grey can beat the speedblitz so many ways it isnt funny it has been mentioned multiple times in this thread. He can make Superman phase through him, and all the other ways already mentioned. If he can read someones thoughts across the planet that pretty much shows his telepathy is instant.

The whole "speedblitz" = victory concept is as ludicrous as the Superman character himself....Nate is an advanced precog, meaning he would view the battle b4 it happens and "prep" himself accordingly... meaning supes motor skills would be shut down b4 any1 could say "overrated choir boy"...Now dont get me wrong I'm a huge fan of Clarks, but I see no way while a "super" character should trump some1 with god-like talents, who operates on another plane of power.....

completely forgetting that nate can eaily take that hit. ur still forgetting his PRECOGNITION sure supes can hit him in a nanosecond but assuming what u say is indeed true and he IS human in durability and reaction speed, his precognition would have picked that attack up LONG before even superman thought of it. so there goes the speedblitz.

ugh read his OFFICIAL bio for god's sake if u havent read any of his comics. people here seem to have fine tuned the complete and ludicrous denial technique. saying oh he doesnt have this well known power simply because the opposition cant produce scans at that very moment{assuming that they HAVE the comic and a scanner ready at the time at all times} pretty soon theyll be arguing OH nate cant think can he his brain doesnt work. oh show me scans if it works. most people DONT HAVE SCANNERS. dumasses.

No they don't ask for scans of the obvious like his brain working. However they will ask for proof when YOU say Nate can do something and we aren't sure he can, maybe we have never read a comic of his.
The burden of proof falls on your shoulders to prove extra-ordinary feats to match what you say Nate would be able to achieve.

npo that wont be pre prep as its his INHERENT ABILITY. also superman CANT reach him in a nanocesond. light travels the length of an average page in a nanocesond and superman DOES NOT travel at or beyond lightspeed. with GREAT EFFORT and loss of control and reaction he can slowly reach speeds NEAR lightspeed but not at or beyond it. that is a FACT.

So what makes Superman the one who makes the first move if they dont even know they have to fight? Speed blitz would imply some prep as well. That you have to know your going to actually hit someone. With no prep time, Neither knows what is going on. Let's say that they are on a war world where they must be prepared at all times for anything. Superman Super hearing and invuln are on all the time. Nate is going to have his shields up, he's going to be listening in on the astral plane at all potential enemies. These silly fights about speed blitz is stupid. I can see a speed blitz if they are in a fight and Supes see's an opening. Or if they have to prep and know they must fight each other. but to just take two opponents, and then say ok now they fight, without any reason, and have one having superspeed is just stupid and doesn't make sense. Speed blitz will aways win even tho they technically shouldn't be fighting unless they know why. which means every fight has prep.
