Yeah, I took that ability into account, because it's the only reason why can hang with the physical top tiers for a while. He needs to increase his strength, because at base he's not that strong. But even then it's not really enough to outclass the usual higher class 100 big brawlers, going by classic Black Bolt.

?

cough*hulk*cough.

What about him? He managed to land a punch or two, but he never came even close to beating him purely physically.

I'm not saying he is stronger than all of them I'm just saying hes around about they're level and his fighting skill isn't the reason he can go toe to toe with them. At base he isn't they're level I agree but he is above human, just like all the other In-humans.

It's hard to tell exactly how strong Bolt is, because he's been seen to slap the shit out of Thing, who is supposedly just below the highest strength class(C-100). I think Bolt's strength is a bit of plot device that can be altered as he fights stronger opponents.

Going by the official Marvel statements(Handbooks and such), though, he's well below the top.

ok, im going to go and make luv to my pillow. see ya.

Yes, and? That's why he can't beat him physically. Theoretically speaking, the Hulk is also stronger at his base level. Although I would agree that Bolt can hold his own against most lower class 100 characters because the diffference isn't that big. I can hold my own against people who are twice as strong as I am, just because I can hurt them if I really want to. Same goes for Bolt.

But against the top tiers in the Marvel Universe? No. Too wide a gap.

I think when he is referred to in the handbook, his strength class is put as his base level, and with the Thing his first fight he was show to be a little below or about equal but another fight BB is smacking him around, I think its how much power he has, and how much he want to use.

Yeah I think its a bit of a plot device.

He has battled most of them and has done very well, but it should be known that he shouldn't battle people with speed like Gladiator for example, but with people with about the same speed or lower he can beat them or do very well.

Every character amps his strength? Huh?

Yeah I think its a bit of a plot device.

His base strength is estimated around 1 ton. He can amp it to 60 tons. However, this is purely going by the handbooks and bios. Most of them are outdated. But it gives you an indication.

Yeah, but how many of them(cosmic characters not included, ofcourse) have amping as an ability? Most of them just perform better as they fight stronger opponents. But that's more like PIS. I'm not saying this is the case with Black Bolt, though.

BB wins with ease 😄

What if Hulk punches Man with Head Fork in throat?
