"Ultimate" Spider-Man Discussion Thread

I was surprised that Ultimate Scarlet Spider can create
webbing on her fingertips.
Fascinating....

Who's your favorite Ultimate Spider-Man villain so far, and why??

Mine is Doctor Octopus. They've taken all his characteristics from the regular comics and given them a great ultimitization. Not to mention he's pure evil. He's killed so many people. And he ripped Peter's tooth out 😄

I know there's been some more villains like Scorpion, Kraven, Hammerhead etc, but the poll only allows 10 options. So if your fav villain is not on the poll then by all means specify who your fav is.

Well, obviously this clone saga has ties to the Suit (created by Richard Parker and Eddie Brock, Sr.) and Ben Reilly (the lab assistant to Dr. Conners) and Ultimate Carnage because both Black Suit Spidey and Carnage were able to shoot webbing from the fingertips.

... Well, mainly black suit.

Hobgoblin sucked ass. There was so much plot room to have Harry slowly evolve (not to be taken literally) into the Green Goblin, but noooo. Bendis just HAD to bring back the uncontrollable goblin.

I know that USM is all about revamping for the 21st century, but there are some things you just shouldn't **** with in relation to the comics.

1.) The reds and blues
2.) The web-shooters
3.) Goblin history

I swear, I've had to kill too many people asking "when does Harry become the Hobgoblin" for Bendis to do that to me. Now I have no trunk or closet space at all, and no reason for it!

well gosh lol i liked him cuz he was harry.. never said he was coool but my fav is harry so... u know who i had to go with. o and dan el did u literally kill them lol? time to go hide.. anyway as for the coolest (not my fav) it'd be ock or venom. carnage arc was strange

Wait, I don't think you understand.
She's just a clone and even though the spider emblem
on her chest looks the one on Venom's, she doesn't have
a symbiote.

Wow...

#98 was f*cking awesome. Can't wait for 99.

Doc Freakin took Peter to Spain to kick his ass. 😂 I think it was Spain.... It was some Spanish country.

Okay a few things... :
A) Why is Shocker on this list? His ass has been kick three times to date. Not including the ass kickings he got in the game.

B)Why is Carnage on this list? Really. I mean he was THE worst villan in USM. Only because he got the Ultimate Treatment. I understand he put up a hell of a fight but other than that he shouldn't be on this list.

C) GG is... hmm.. I'm just gonna leave this one alone. Just this once.

D) Scorpion rocked. 2 reasons.
1: He's Pete's F***ing clone! How awsome is that?!
2: He's probably one of the few villans from the 616 universe that isn't a complete moron anymore. Like Rhino.

Now. Ringer. 😂 That was a funny guy! He says he's from Missouri but he's from Ohio. How funny is that?! 😂 I loved that issuse. It just reminds you there are still some funny villans in Spideys life. I acctually have the first page of that comic as my cell phone wallpaper.... Okay I'm done.

All the Ultimate villains look and act dumber than their
original versions.

My fav would be Venom.

Although I don't really agree with how the writers have totally changed his origin, the story does put on more of a realistic telling of Eddie Brock/Venom, and making it more interesting for me as a reader. And I just love how the writers made the story more dramatic by creating a stronger bond/relationship between Spidey/Peter and Venom/Eddie.

Her genetic structure was created from the symbiote, much like Ultimate Carnage was. At least, that's what makes sense to me.

In Shocker's case it's obvious, but what about the others??

I think they are waiting before the explain the details. That way, it will make people wait in suspense.

I like the ultimate version of Scorpion.
