9 times out of ten in neutral, as i am here, i would suggst link he the better odds according to what powers i am aware each character possesses but i do not support either of them

Link is specially trained with those things, or at least he has a natural thing to be a master of them. Anyway, Ryu would win in an unarmed fight, but this is not. And if Link can use magic which he can, he will win....

While I add that it's possible for Link to beat Ryu even without Magic. He does have a shield and a sword. He also has plenty of other weapons, items and gadgets at his disposal.

link has too many possibilities

1:
haha, link throws a dekunut to paralyze ryu (it doesnt have to hit him directly) and when ryu is paralyzed, an arrow trough the chest...

2:
link shoots the hookshot through the chest, takes him close to him, and cut off his head...

3:
link uses din´s fire to attack ryu. and ryu doesnt know link, and the din´s fire is to quick for him. it will not kill him, but when he is damaged, link shoots an light arrow...

4:
link takes on the giant mask and stops him as an ant...

5:
link becomes fierce diety and kills ryu just the way he wants...

it is a draw, yes... but i still think is one of them was going to win, link would have the biggest chance... but ryu is incredible powerful and quick, and not stupid, either...

3. Dodged. Ryu's WAY fast enough to get out of the way. And anyways, who says Link has the initiative EVERYTIME they fight?

How is Ryu going to dodge a wall of fire which only expands and goes longer and longer? Also, time stops while he does it, people don't get the time to get away from him....

Who says Link will have the iniative or the forethought to act no that before Ryu barrles at him and kicks off his head?

Because Link just activates Din's fire, and if Ryu closes in he is dead, there is really nothing he can do. And Link was granted divinely stamina and health, so kicking off his head ain't gonna be that easy. His skin was even called "armor"....

ryus been hit by a flameing shoryuken several times via ken,i think that may hurt more than a wall of fire,he can take it.

ryus skin is way tougher than links.if a guy shatters a mountin with a punch then punches ryu and it only leaves a briuse if even that,hes gotta have some extra tough skin.

Did I say Ryu was less durable? No, I didn't even compare them. I said that Link was durable as hell....

And it's been established that Link wins this, why are you keeping this going?

no its been established that ryu wins becuase if they fought in a fair fight where they both didnt have weapons or they both did, the wandering warrior will win and now im done.

WTF! This is an all out fight, yes Ryu would MOST LIKLEY win in an unarmed fight, but that means jack shit in this fight.........
