ACTUALLY READ MY ARGUMENT. If Link has time stopped everytime he's cast a spell, then it's only fair that Ryu has time stop when he does he finishing move just like in every single fighter game. Since this real life and no health bars, every move of Ryu's is a finishing move, so time stops everytime he does something. Does that sound a little too gamey? YES. So therefore, Link being able to stop time every single time he casts a spell is GAMEY, and therefore IRRELEVANT.An 8 year old Link fights nothing that can match Ryu. It matters greatly how old you are. Link won't be ready for someone of Ryu's calibre. Link can go through hell and back, but still won't have the mentality or instinctual combat reactions that Ryu has honed over 10+ years o fighting against men and women who were his strength and size.
It's the fact that Ryu won't KO Link. HE'LL KILL HIM. This damage in our world, not game world, so no health bars or potions that can save either from a fatal hit.
And Swe_Bum, unless you have something to say in the argument, don't post random crap.
Ryu doesn't stop time, you just see a close up on his expression, then he uses the move. Time stands still WHILE Link uses his spells, people can still move when Ryu does his, it's just the part where the game sounds "cling" and it gives a close up on his face or anything else.... And those things aren't even comparable. Time doesn't stop when Ryu does a finishing move, nor anyone else in SF. You can still parry their strikes, you are not doomed to be hit....
Link has fought nothing that can match Ryu?. LOL!!!!!!
And I agree, there is no such things as health bars or similair. But Link's skin was tough as armor, and he has fairys which can revive him when he dies... Besides, I haven't seen Ryu kill many persons with one strike, much less kicked of parts of their bodys.... (At least not strong persons he faces)
