Ryu vs Link

Ryu lifted 2 rocks at the same time. those rocks were 2 or 3 times his seize.

Why wouldn't ryu get close ?

If we bring his items in this debate..... why we don't bring Evil Ryu to his game, with his teleport and his shun goku satsu?

Of course it's items in the fight, that's all Link got... And is Evil Ryu an item, or a person? Ryu fought with Evil Ryu didn't he? So can he fight his own items?

And Link lifted a stone about 12 times his size, and tossed it about 20 meters....

I want to see if link can block a Messatsu Gou Hadou or a Hadouken that is able to blow up a building.

Well, that's working ifs completely. Were not talking about Evil Ryu. We're talking basic Ryu, with no hate added.

Evil Ryu would not be a good idea against Link. We're talking about evil here...against a guy wielding the sword of evil's bane. Not to mention as many have stated in other SF based threads: Ryu does not perform the Shungokusatsu in the SF storyline. Doing so would have forever kept him on the Satsui No Hadou. And Remy you of all people know that Evil Ryu is not his strongest incarnation. Link wields all that equipment and magic all the time; however Ryu has not used the Dark Hadou since SA3.

soo Link has his Items, it is part of the character. so is the Dark Hadou

And even if Ryu can't do shun goku satsu in canon. he can do it in the game right. same is about link that does thing in the game.

normal Ryu is surpassed Evil Rui but not much. very little difference now. only Evil Ryu has more strenght and speed and Chi!!!!

Dark Hadou is no longer part of Ryu's character though. Isn't it part of the storyline that Ryu could have walked the same path as Akuma, but did not? He hasn't shown any struggle with the Dark Hadou since the alpha days. He is no longer willing to kill to win a fight.

soo we talk about parts of character. Link can use ALL his items!! so why can't we bring Evil Ryu in this fight too that HAS appeared!! doesn't matter that it isn't part of Ryu anymore.

It is, because it is not in Ryu's character to kill anymore. Besides the thread is not about Evil Ryu vs Link. If you really want to discuss it in those terms make a thread about it.

Evil Ryu WAS a part of Ryu so that also counts. you use ALL the items he had in all those games, soo why not also use ALL the INCARNATIONS OF RYU 😄😄😄

I didn't use all of the items he has used in every Zelda game. If that were the case Ryu would be fighting God with pointy ears. I only used OoT's Link. Yes he does have all those items, weapons and magic in that game. I decided long ago to stop arguing about this, but what do you know no one posts in this forum. I'd rather keep this alive instead of just browsing this forum a thousand times only to find no one has replied in any thread because there's nothing to discuss about.
