When I recall the story of Adam and Eve, i recall God making ADAM FIRST.....then Adam asking for someone to prevent him from being lonely. Only THEN did God create woman out of his rib....
If you recall the remainder of the tale of Adam and Eve, you'll remember that the moral of the story is that the downfall of man is woman. Would it then make sense for a woman to come first, or a man?
Does that mean God didn't plan to create women in the first place?
No, because he could have just made Adam another male companion.

It is not true Maple Sugar. God highly values women. You know when God decided to make a woman He did not take a bone from Adam's foot (signifying that she was supposed to be beneath Adam). God did not take a bone from Adam's head either (signifying that Eve was supposed to be above or superior to Adam). God took one of Adam's ribs and made it into a woman (signifying that Eve was supposed to walk side-by-side with Adam as his equal). God is good and God is Love. You are so special to God the Father and the Lord Jesus (as are all women). You all have gifts, talents, and capabilities that men do not possess. Read the Book of Proverbs, chapter 31, it has a lot of positive things to say about a godly woman.
