But seriously, that was a generalization, and an intentional one. I know not all people who live in Red States are Conservative or prejudice. However, notice how I mentioned "zealot Hispanics" as well, and I happen to be both white and hispanic.

No matter what, the majority of Conservatives in U.S. happen to be Anglo Saxon and Hispanic. And these groups of people happen to be easily swayed by religion and traditionalist values.

If it is given to one group, then it should be given to the other. It should not be "exclusively for straights", because to do so IS Unconstitutional.

The whole "Civil Unions" bullshit is a "seperate but equal" policy, and THAT my freind, is Unconstitutional.

So basically homosexuals have the same marriage rights as heterosexuals - providing they have heterosexual marriages. That is, they can be homosexual and get married, providing it is to someone of the opposite sex?

Am I on the right track? For some odd reason that rationalizing does little to improve my view of those who wish to stop certain people marrying. Maybe I am odd or something.
