Is this because of Dooku?

It's not only due to the fact you have Tyranus listed at the number one spot on both accounts, but your rankings are severely flawed, and you even have Kit ****ing Fisto on your list. Plus, you're lacking essential figures like Luke, Jacen, Exar Kun, and the like. If it were only because of Tyranus, then I wouldn't have said 'pretty much everything'.

Kit Fisto is a great Jedi, who else has a smile like that, Fisto deserves to be on the list, because of his smile and because he is a great swimmer.

Advent is right; your list is unsupported and idiotic at best. Dooku being one of the greatest Jedi - and an even greater Sith Lord - is stated and supported by the novelization. However, the Emperor was the greatest Sith Lord ever, bar none. His achievements grossly outweigh those of any of his predecessors, and Dooku was nothing but a pawn in the schemes. As for Jedi, he counts even less. Yoda, Luke, Jacen Solo, and even Obi-Wan Kenobi - in terms of decisions and roles played - have had much more of a profound importance on the galaxy than Dooku has.

Isn't this a personal preference and it says no bashing, you hurt my feelings.

Sith:
1. DE Sidious (duh)
2. Darth Nihilus
3. Marka Ragnos (maybe)
4. Darth Bane
5. Freedon Nadd (but maybe Exar Kun or Tulak Hord)

Jedi:
1. Luke Skywalker (NJO and up - obviously)
2. Kyp Durron (maybe)
3. Yoda (not sure if he is above or below Kyp)
4. Revan
5. Mace Windu/Kyle Katarn/ROTS Anakin

As for Jedi, he counts even less. Yoda, Luke, Jacen Solo, and even Obi-Wan Kenobi - in terms of decisions and roles played - have had much more of a profound importance on the galaxy than Dooku has.

And what obi wan did...
He killed Maul, got pulverized by Dooku two times, and got killed by Vader eventually...And then stopped by and say hello when the war was over at the end of ep.6.

First of i was joking when i made that list, especialy about Kit Fisto and i would never in million years put Sion on it, if i was serious and they meant, when he was a Jedi, he didn't do anything big for Galaxy changing events.

Even when he is a Sith, he is not super important, all those things he did for Sidious could ave been done by someone else, just allot harder, he was the perfect man for the job, but easily replaceable.

Now sidious bane and nadd fits your list for the greatest

Why is Nadd on that list, or Ragnos, or Nihilus, but the biggest question is, why Tulak Hord maybe, we don't know anything about him.

I think Sion should be on the list of Sith he was pretty bad ass

a.) Darth Sidious conquered the galaxy, dissolved the Republic, and smashed the Jedi. That puts him literally miles ahead of any other Sith in terms of achievements.

b.) Malak did nothing but try to do what Revan did, and he failed at it. Ergo, he's not among the greatest Sith.

c.) Naga Sadow? SEE: Malak.

d.) Kun, who is certainly among the strongest Sith, is trailing behind Darths Sidious and Revan.

e.) Where are Bane and Ragnos?

This is a little better. Arguably, Anakin could be number one, since he killed Palpatine and "brought balance to the Force".

I think that Revan would be on the list had he not disgraced the Sith and went with the Republic. He had an opportunity to dominate, but for some odd reason threw it away (officially).

3. Bane for the rule of 2 and defeat of the brotherhood
4. Plagueis for making anakin through the medi chlorians
5. Sion/Nihil/Karness Muur/Palpatine/andeddu and any other immortal siths for conquering death the oft forgeten of sith goals

For force ability
1.Plagueis creates life from nothing
2.Bane using the thought bomb
3.Zannah for her sorcery
4.Nihil wiping out entire planets
5.Exar kunn for draining the massassi life force
6.any sith that comes back from the dead in spirit

For saber ability
1. Maul and dooku maul for his astounding knowledge and dooku for you know
2.Vader
3.bane

for pure hotness
