And at the same time, The Force, a being with a far greater level of knowledge and understanding regarding the Star Wars Universe than either one of us, via the prophecy of the Sith'ari, credits Bane directly with the achievement. Not Palpatine. Nor Sidious. Bane.Your and Tangible's argument appears ultimately reliant on the idea that final execution is unambiguously the most crucial component of any plan; not only does your assertion lack proof, but the ultimate source within Star Wars, an omnipresent, omniscient force of nature, completely disagrees.
Anyways, don't blame Palpatine for not being the Sith'ari, blame LFL for making Bane more important than he is. 😂
Even Lightsnake agrees.
😆
Nebaris simply trying to get a rise out of you, wasting time making multiple accounts here rather than trying to construct something resembling a social life.
Simply do as REX says and ignore him.
Period.
With any luck, REX will make it official forum policy to ignore socks and anyone who doesn't will be banned.
In all seriousness it was actually you I was trying to get a "rise" out of, and I can only assume it was successful given that you clearly typed that out in a maniacal rage, as evident by the uncharacteristic grammatical blunder you appear to have produced. That being said, may I ask how "wasting time making multiple accounts here" would necessarily conflict with "trying to construct something resembling a social life", as your use of the term "rather" would indicate, considering how the internet can act as an alternative platform for communities to exist socially (as these forums themselves demonstrate), let alone something simply resembling it (?!).
Rather than pretending to have put me on ignore, you will respond to this in a logical manner, and only when I permit you to (the next 20 minute window will be closed).
or you will concede and apologize for this open act of defiance
It didn't have to be a blunder. The easiest fix (and what he clearly intended) of 'Nebaris is simply...' would not have had the same rhetorical weight of 'Nebaris simply trying to get a rise out of you, wasting time making multiple accounts here rather than trying to construct something resembling a social life constitutes the most convincing argument for his infatuation with [Gideon].'
That would've made me lol and possibly have qualified as win. Sadly Gideon has replaced himself with fayl and AIDS so we didn't get to see that. Moral of the story: The simplest fix is not always the best, but replacing one's corporeal self with a conglomeration of Fail and AIDS never is.

(Going by achievements) SITH:1. Sidious (Mastery of the force and destroyed the republic)
2. Bane (Orbalisk armor, godly dueling, destroyed the old and weak sith)
3. Nihilus (Sever and drain, he could solo anyone. Killed a planet)
4. Plagueis (Created Anakin? and planned the downfall of the republic)
5. Krayt (Founded and lead the One Sith, conquered the galaxy)JEDI:
1. Yoda (Too much to list here)
2. Luke (Rebuilt Jedi order. DUH)
3. Mace (Shatterpoint and Vapaad, essentially killed Sidious)
4. Vodo-Siosk (Instructed Exar Kun)
5. Anakin (Brought balance to the Force, and if he hadn't turned to the dark side, he would be the most powerful jedi who ever lived.)
Sidious could only hang back and let clones do his work, whike Bane personally slaughtered countless jedi whenver he encountered them. HE DESTROYED A TEMPLE WITH 1 FORCE BLAST!!!! Bane also is the ONLY reason Sidious was a sith, for if he hadn left the Brotherhood OR had died, then the Sith would have died, only to be revived a long time later, but not with the capabilities to bring down the Republic.
"Wars not make one great." Yoda's first lesson to Luke, and one that would take Luke several years to experience.
Yoda's greatest achievement (a Jedi's greatest achievement imo) was to oversee and/or mediate over countless peaceful resolutions to all manner of conflicts across the galaxy. And last but not least, the successful teaching/training of many young padawans into full fledged peace keepers (Jedi).
The greatest Jedi is the one who's passed on positive teachings through several generations of Jedi.
So while some get accolades for being warriors I believe Yoda gets recognition for one of the largest contributions to the Great Holcoron, and the teachings of the Jedi as a whole.

Saying Bane was greater that Paplatine because he began the RoT and its network is like saying the Dutch Colonials were greater than the modern day USA because they're the ones who bought Manhattan from the natives.

What really did Yoda actually achieve to be listed as one of the greater Jedi? I would always think of him in the past as one of them but when attempting to make an argument for it there doesn't seem to be a lot of supporting evidence. So what actually does Yoda have to his name?
Instructing Luke, being most powerful Jedi in his era and being the Jedi Grandmaster for quite a while. Not being killed, one with the Force. Great wisdom thanks to 900 years of experience. Blah blah. That's actually all I can think of.
I'd say Revan is the greatest Jedi.
Btw, Liquorsnake? Original.

How about putting Revan in those lists?
As a Jedi Warrior: Killed "Mandalore - The Ultimate" and won in the Mandalorian Wars.
As a Sith Lord: Established a powerful Sith Empire and instigated the conquest of the Republic with brutal efficiency.
As a redeemed Jedi: Killed "Darth Malak" and shattered the Sith forces.
